And so concludes this trial. I'm not gonna lie, I always found this ending to be...anticlimatic in both the game and anime. The anime was far worse as it felt like both Phoenix and Edgeworth was jumping on Vasquez. The same honestly can be applied here, but still. This trial out of the trilogy was always the weakest imo as the investigation did more for the characters than the actual trial itself. Honestly Vasquez did have a right to be a little upset considering an argument can be made that this was a fixed trial in which the prosecution and the defense ganged up on her specifically. I was always torn with Vasquez (unfortunately I saw the anime first and they painted her far more sympathetic) as what she did was self defense, but I can't deny the fact she was blackmailing the dude (who was a POS as well), and has ties with the mafia. I was hoping Iris would have more of a role here, but oh well. She came up clutch several times, so it's all good. I imagine she'll play an even bigger role in these next two trials as we're now entering the main event! Turnabout Goodbyes! Oh yes! This was the trail I was waiting for! Our trio takes on The God of Persecution Manfred Von Karma! I'm EAGERLY looking forward to what role Iris will have in this one! Congrats again on completing the second episode! And have a wonderful Christmas and New Years!
