This is a Bald Cypress tree that I got on clearance at a local Lowe's store that I began the steps to turn into a bonsai tree!

Thank you, I purchased several potted plants which two of them happen to be Bald Cypress. I now know what to do to them since I did not have the ideal place in my yard to plant them. Wonderful, detail instructions! Again thank you!

Great video! I have a bald cypress I need to do something with. It's about 5 ft tall and already had cypress knees coming out of the pot. The pot is maybe 7" tall and round. I may get brave enough to try this after watching more videos. Thanks for the info.

Best time to harvest deciduous trees is in winter/early spring if you're getting them from outside ^-^

Bald cypress are deciduous. How is it surviving in Florida??? LOL

They are everywhere here in Florida in all if the lakes. I have three of them as bonsai and they are doing great

@@JoseRiveraArtVideos I have recently come to know this. That is so strange but fascinating. So they do fine whether they're in a swamp or even in a snowy climate. I'm planning to get some and I'm in New York.
