This project to me over 3 weeks to complete. There were a lot of tearful moments but tears of joy as my baby is getting older, stronger and healthier each and every day!! is it ok if the onesies are stretchy?

Yes. You just have to be careful when you sew them. When I've sown stretchy ones they tend to stretch and it might end up wrinkly looking. You just have to make sure it isn't stretched when you sew it together.

Did you use anything as an inner piece like batting? I ask because I didn't know i could make one without. I'm a beginner. I thought you had to have a middle piece

You don't need the inner piece. It just ends up being a thinner quilt. The inner piece gives it more structure and weight but if you don't want it you don't need it. Hope this helps 🥰🥰🥰
