It’s definitely theft. Although it should be noted that the Rolls Royce ceilings have 1340 stars. That’s a whole lotta stars.

Polly Monopoly well for that amount of stars using this method you’d pay around 370$ still nowhere near 12k

lets not forget that the lights and everything they do is top quality. If they get a single 1/8 of an inch incorrect, they have to redo it, a lot of man hours goes into it looking as good as it does in a rolls royce.

rolls royce uses actual low karat diamonds though you guys are on crack if you think the 12k option is just for this

You can use just the remote to control power if you don’t want to use a switch. The switch just gives you more options. For example, if the batteries in your remote die and the lights stay on, you can cut power with the switch.

@@Tyreee938 nice bro, love these GS's. I guarantee it would look amazing inside the Lexus. Also, look into these Tesla style head units they have for our model car, they come in 11-12 inch screens which replaces the outdated infotainment system and makes the car look like a 2020 on the inside. They run for $400-600. Once I start my upgrades I'm gonna upload videos for the hell of it

OG SPMEX It’s a bone stock IS-F with the 5.0L V8. My car has minor bolt-ons.

Sebastian Int just wondering because a guy at my school thinks he can beat me with his stock is350 awd around 245whp and I have a b20v eg coupe with minor Boltons pushing around 175whp and I know that a stock type s will make around the same power stock

My car has a metal tray that the slider sits in, so it’s separated from the headliner itself. I left a good amount of slack so that the strands don’t get pulled out.

Nope. It gets power from the amp that’s connected to the car’s battery. The only way the lights will die out is if the something inside the light box breaks, the amp goes out, or my car battery goes out.

Hey Jc! My car has a metal panel that sits under the slider and separates the slider from the headliner itself. It does not interfere with the strands because of this panel. I believe most cars/trucks have the same set up.

I used flat black Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric spray paint.

The lights are tapped into my amp which has all time power. The switch allows me to cut off power if the battery in my remote ever dies out while the lights are still on.

Saul Baez The amp has live power running through it, so the switch allows me to cut off power when I’m not using the lights.

No power converter due to it being 12V. The wire on the cigarette lighter end of the plug was cut exposing the positive and negative wire. It was then wired to the amp using ring terminals.

It does not come in contact with the fiber optics.

Carlos M Each strand has its own hole. I had to poke 200 holes through the headliner with a thumb tack.

King Cyrus 12 I think 200 should be fine 👍🏼. You do have a bigger headliner though, so it all depends on the way that you lay it out. They sell just the fiber optic wire on eBay if you want to add more.

The bundle is held together with black tape. All you’ll have to do is add to the bundle and then retape it together.

It may depend on which lighting unit you buy. Some may run hotter then others, but I haven’t had any issues with my system. I’ve also installed larger units on other cars and no problems as well.

Skreet2x You’re going to cut the wire that comes with your lighting kit. One end will plug into the box for power and then you’ll cut the other end where the plug is that would originally go into a cigarette letter. And then attach ring terminals to the side you cut and then attach to the amp for power.

Did you need the cigaret lighter ?

Nope. You don’t need the cigarette lighter plug. Just cut the cigarette lighter end and the positive and negative wire will be exposed. After that, use ring terminals so that you can attach them to your amp.

Anytime man! You could do the 4 square method like I did to keep everything organized.

This is 6.5 feet. You can only use this length on a hatchback or small car where the lighting box is going to be close to the headliner. For 4 door cars and trucks , I recommend 9-13 ft.

Oh alright lol. Then yeah, 6.5 ft will work perfectly if you plan on mounting the box in the location that I did. Otherwise, 9ft (which is the next size up I believe) should be plenty if you mount the box in the trunk.

I had the same problem with a few cars that have thick padding on the headliner. I just went back and shoved the needle farther down to create a slightly bigger hole. Play with the insertion angles too. They can be bit tricky to feed through sometimes because of the angles that you poked the holes at.
