And you really need to pipe down Mr Burns. Takes a while to edit these videos, especially when you’re working full time. Just sit back and enjoy the work, does it really matter what date the job was?
I don' know what other viewers are thinking, but I for one thoroughly enjoy your commentary and artisan craft work. Thanks for posting. Mr Steve get better soon, don't forget the Physical Therapy, and I look forward to your healthy return and interesting projects.
Just to concur with others the whole reason I follow you is because of the commentary!! There’s good reason for it & it keeps us the viewers informed at all times Thanks for all your hard work on all aspects of construction and videography
Hey Steve and Alex, I enjoy watching you guys work and the commentary. I have no idea what you charge but I’m sure you deserve more. Like a mechanic that can diagnose an issue instead of just replacing parts you need to be compensated for your experience and problem solving ability. Cheers from Nova Scotia.
I don't know who's telling you that you talk too much, but don't believe them. Your level of description and other talking is just about spot on in your videos. Keep it up.
🤣 Like it when you put the Circular Saw down right in front of the camera showing "Milwaukee. To be honest, why not, they sponsor you and I have a Milwaukee drill that is excellent.
hope you are both ok and glad it stopped raining for you that day and you have been delayed these office people really need to work in the situation to understand how it can affect the whole job hope you are keeping well Steve with the hip and thanks for the Video
What's it like being a gas bag Steve 😂😂😂 On a more serious note, I taught in a Technical College for a number of years and qualified as a teacher in further education. Certificate of Education etc.. I think you explain things well. Presenting the technical information in a calm and concise way. The lovely relationship you have with your son Steve helps when discussing points and keeps the interest levels up. In short just keep on doing what you are doing it is great. Also as a Plumber your channel has saved me a fortune you deserve to be paid well and to enjoy your sponsorships.
Ya if you guys didn't talk to the camera We wouldn't know what's going on.? So I like it wen you show how you guys Do stuff.! And explain what's going on So we can follow along.!! And sum of us aren't bricklayers.!! And we like to See how things are done.
Another 'Real World' video from the brickies. Rain stops play, late delivery, wrong bricks - situation normal then! Just love the editing of the applause when Steve was doing his arithmetic on the wall - bit of sarcasm there Al! And the hip Steve?
Sympathise with you Steve - I've just had knee replacement in August, now I've got a hip problem, so can really appreciate how painful your hip must be - and I'm retired! You must be in agony mate, just hope you get it sorted soonest. Keep safe.@@SteveAndAlexBuild
Steve. Iphone calc like this. Press Mc ( memory cancel) then 2.1. Square it. Press M+ ( add to memory) . 4.19. Square it. M+. Then press Mr ( memory recall) . Simply square root the number shown. No writing down. Its good practice to press Mc when your done.
Well Steve. You already square the first dimension on the phone and the result shows on the screen. Then instead of writing it on the bricks😄pressing the little memory+ button is the same thing. When you square the next dimension you simply press the memory + again. So now those two numbers have ALREADY added themselves together. Press the memory recall button MR and it shows the result. All you have to do now is press the square root and bobs your uncle. Try it with your figures. No pencil required. Sorry for hurting your brain.😁@@SteveAndAlexBuild
Never heard of ever steel not going footing at times want double layer certainly up here in Scotland. Madness not having regs change by area never mind country. Great work boys that hip certainly causing havoc steve. 🤙
The foundation was spot on. The customer obviously knows what they are doing. Bit of a mix up at the end with the delivery....lots of hectic phonecalls I could see something was up. A frustrating day. Keep up the good work 👍
do you folks over there use line levels? Lasers are great but I trust them like a wife who flirts. I have a hard time trusting either... Had a project that the auto level on the laser didn't work and was 20mm or 3/4" out.
Ask if they can add extra implants? besides your New Bionic Hip !! like a built in calculator !! Laser level sighting with laser measuring too 🤔 Maybe some Bluetooth ?? 🇨🇦🤓👍
