My little brothers friend's dad told me that code. I was too young to be able to complete levels so having that cheat made the game worth playing. Good times
I used to walk around this game for hours and never once did I find a soul gate, a sister of despair nor an energy totem. Even with the master cheat. So it was good to see someone find and kill that thing. Thank you gory.
I could never finish most of the levels. Was too stupid as a kid. I struggled through and made it through level 1 and the death marshes. The rest I just walked around forever and couldn't figure out what to do.
@@cosmomontanaro5759 i made it through 4 levels, couldn't beat the 5th one with the alien bugs, was just lost most of the time. I even had the strategy guide, I guess it didn't go into enough detail cuz I never made it.
@@bdkj3e Bro, this is so relatable. That poxy hive of the mantids was the worst shit ever. It's funny though, when I played through the remake recently I actually got through it easy enough. When I was a kid it was beyond me, though. 😅
I remember this game as a kid Many hours in multiplayer in this I remember this iconic intro. The lady didn't sound like that back on the n64 I couldn't get past the first level as a kid ever lol
The audio was different on N64 vs computer, they used the computer audio for the remasters and it's definitely different. Especially with the first flesh portal, it's sounds way scarier with the N64 version, you can find both here on RU-vid.

Oh man I remember playing this game with my dad when I was 11. Such a good game with memorable weapons and bosses. Cerebral bore! The gore was the best in this game.
I could never tell if the game's levels were badly designed, or if I just wasn't paying enough attention. Turok 2 required you to pay attention, and toughen up if you wanted to succeed.
i remember as a kid playing this game it was so hard to make it anywhere. you would get stuck somewhere because you forgot a single hidden switch somewhere way back in the level

I remember this when I installed this game (accidently on my PC just pressed Setup "Next -> Next -> Next -> Finish" 🤣) I was like 8-9 maybe? and when I walked alone in game especially on watered floor which echoed the splashing sound I felt kind of melancholy of loneliness. and when you rescue child in cage, then kid happily vanishing giving me depression 😂 didn't finish the game tho. Now I am 29 and still thinking how mysterious that felt from this time...
The first time we bought our first very own computer in 2003, this was installed along with XG2 and NBA Live 2003. I remember just walking around there never finising the game. Nostalgia really it is.

I always got lost too on N64, though we did have that fog on N64 that hid the poor draw distance which made things alot ,ore difficult. The dinos jumping around that first corner on the first level always scared the shut out of me. The fog really gave that level a creepy forlorn atmosphere, like I felt bad for the soldiers.
This game was really scary when I was a kid. My brother and I were so clever that we would say, "I HAVE TWO ROCKS!" in reference to testicles, of course. :) Man, the music and sound effects really take me back.

If I remember correctly, the original n64 version didn't have the mission markers in the map and there was no way to tell if you completed all the objectives and if you didn't it would warp you back to the beginning of the level when you reached the end
Yeah, just replayed it recently and thought I had done everything in the first mission but was missing one objective. Started me over and I haven’t played since. I was like 4 or 5 hours deep. I have two kids and a wife. I can’t be wasting that kind of time just to be starting over. Even as a kid I never completed the first mission. Game should have come with a strategy guide. It’s just too much. Brought back a lot of memories though. Went down nostalgia lane. Visually impressive for its time.

This game used to scare me as a kid but I played it anyway. Never did 100% a single level but had fun exploring. Will give the remaster a go now I have found there is one.
Gotta say mate these no commentary longplays are really good. Commentary is nice but so,etimes you just want the dude to shut up so you can enjoy the cutscenes and such. Going to watch your turok dinosaur hunter after this.
The music on this level is incredible with the speech narrative as you pick up guns and complete objectives always stood out for me and created one of the most atmospheric levels in any game to date, never fails to give that rush.
I think the first Turok game along with this one got rave reviews. This is definitely a classic and I was in middle school when Turok 2 came out. Good memories!
Absolutely first rate soundtrack right from the jump the port of adia ost is off the chainracks and is perfect to set the tone to kill some dino baddies!👍🦖🦕🦖
Maybe it's just me, but I'm getting the feeling that Turok 2's "Lazarus Concordance" and Turok 3's "Council of Voices" are NOT the same "governing" body of the Lost Land. Also I can't tell if Adon looks/sounds better in T2 or T3.
It's so beautiful looking that I can't stop watching. Can someone explain how everyone on youtube is playing these super smooth versions of Turok and 007? Are there emulators out there or do I need to buy it somewhere? The lag really kills this games true potential on the original console. This is clearly being played on a CPU or a PS4/Xbox.
You can buy the Remastered Version on PC and consoles and Goldeneye there is a new injector... I make a video next week with the full game and write the tutorial in the description. It's called 1964GEPD
Bruh what a game, is that game you hate and love, is a challenge to beat it, aiming is hard on n64, levels are long af, no save points, no way to know if you completed your objectives, Lair of the Blind Ones.. holly molly that has to be most insane level in the Turok franchise, that dev was pissed when designed that mf level even on the remastered version is still hard
I played this on N64. Spent months in it, but never finished. It was good gameplay but I disliked using a controller pad because the joystick made aiming difficult.
Yeah I also never made It to the end. Was lost for weeks on Level 3 and then gave up. The N64's horrible graphics and fog, plus I think the map was worse than the PC version...
The main problem with these games is that you can't save your progress, the levels are too long, and you keep on getting lost and going around in circles for hours and hours.
@@Dalendil yeah i also starting right now Goldeneye again to recording. There is a way you can play with mouse and keyboard. After that OoT also native for pc :)
I always liked the original one better...the music and everything about it was amazing...the only thing I did on the second one was play multiplayer with my siblings
@@chadmueller9135 for me, Turok was that cool dinosaur game I played in the nintendo 64 emulator as a kid. I didn't know it was a franchise, I thought it was some fun obscure game like Boogerman or Mace: The Dark Age.
Wrong music pitch? Or is it my phone? I did play it not too long ago I've forgotten how the first game sounded so I wasn't distracted by the damage noises. The music's definitly the wrong pitch. And motion blur, not good for any shooter.
Yeah you are right. The PC and the N64 had some sound difference, you can choose between the both in the remastered version and i choose the pc version in this video.
I'm sorry. I've only just started with the videos and english isn't my mother tongue either XD. Maybe in the future. I record the videos when my son is sleeping so i don't wake him up i stay silent while playing. At the moment it's just a hobby because I'm also working on the side I wish you a great day/night.
Was it absolutely necessary for the developers to make Turok scream like a girl EVERY SINGLE TIME he gets hit? It quickly gets on the nerves and makes the hero sound weak.
