Hi everybody!
In this tutorial, I will show you how to export 3d files from sketchup to Unreal Engine 5, and things to note, all from my experience during the past time using Unreal engine. . I got this problem where some of the static meshes (furnitures from sketchup) are not affected by lighting at all. Mostly are fine but like 2 or 3 static meshes being complete dark and don't interact with ligthing at all.

There are 2 possible problems, 1 please check the face problem is correct. 2 it's uv, uv is too big or too small uv problem i will show in upcoming video how to handle uv and modeling, but in rare case try to import with same object once you have copied it to new project completely remove components or groups in sketchup and import them separately, also try importing with fbx

The camera movement is too slow. It is necessary to speed up every 10-20t. Otherwise, you can fall asleep. And if I also understand what is happening on the screen, then all the work is for nothing.
