Its saved to the project so you would need to remap if you created a new project but would still be there if you reopen the same project

Yes you can have as many audio tracks as you want playing at the same time.

I have had the same problem in the past with a weird noise...never really sure why it happens. I think it was something to do with the midi settings in Live...can't fully remember how I sorted it. Turn off all the mido sync remote and track settings in the preferences amd see if its any of those causing the problem.

Sounds like they are set to momentary. There is an editor software I believe where you can change the settings. If you change to toggle on/off they should stay on....I think!

Not 100% sure but then again it is just basic midi mapping so may work.

There is the crossfader option in components, you can put it in your user mode :)

Alan Bomczuk for DJing with Ableton then Push is probably best for overall control of the software. Ive not really used any ither cobtrollers with it so couldn't really say which is best.

I guess anything that adds a hardware mixer to your set up, like using Allen & Heath Xone: K2 along PUSH

You would have to speed up or slow down the tracks so their BPM is the same...this would only work however if the tracks are within around 4bpm of each other. Only other way to mix would be do just cut from one to the other at a good place in the track.

I tried it with another MIDI device and it seems to work, however... I can't use my keys as up-arrow or down-arrow, nor left-arrow or right-arrow. I can switch between lines but this means also immediately playing of the track, which is kinda strange. I will try it with a third device that has buttons and knobs, after that I should know a lot more about all of this. Very helpful so far. Thank you.

the minibrute does not send midi if you turn something. its a synth not a midi controller
