As far as we know, they indeed produce a pull-up leather.

Crazy horse is indeed similar to pull up. The main diff is that crazy horse is slightly buffed/sanded at the top so it’s more like a top grain than full grain. A similar leather is Hunter Leather.

100 parts Dye soln 200 parts IPA 700 parts water.

Hello! great video! I work in the leather restoration service in Denver CO. I see some pull up leather used with furniture especially chairs. From time to time I get a call to touch this type of leather finish. I can only match color and sheen. I have yet been able to replicate the tumbled look the fine stretch marks. Is there a process that I can duplicate in the field?

Hello, what is the oil wax mixture again? Is it just paraffin wax and oil? So is one paraffin wax soft, as soft pliable, and the other like solidified? If you could explain the process of why two different texture waxes are added? I dye leather goods myself would love to create pull up leather at home.

No chrome tanned or semi veg also can be used.

I wish to buy dying chemical and colors from STAHL. I did a lot of research on leather chemicals. Met with hundreds of tanners they only preffered me to go STAHL for leather.

Nice introduction to the process. I just can't believe you're actually doing this without gloves and other protection, so reckless! Not to mention the disgusting fumes coming out of melted paraffin that will cause your health to deteriorate in the long run. Say goodbye to your lungs.
