Make your next jewelry project unique by learning how to make punched bar links. In this video, I’ll be demonstrating my second-time usage of this great new tool in my toolkit from Beadsmith. If you’re looking to make bar links or have a project that requires 1.5 mm holes punched, add this without hesitation. Easy to use and easy on the hands!

I love it also! Mostly because of it’s beautiful color and how it “ plays “ so well with many colors! And it is so easy to work with.

If you turn the punch upside down, & view the black mark through the hole, it works every time.

I love working with copper wire. I've got a lot of it in various gages. My husband says I'm hoarding it. I use it, really I do 😊. I don't know, there's just something about the look of copper. It's very pretty. I like the hole punch too. I think I'll have to get one and add it to my arsenal of tools. Yeah I like collecting jewelry tools too. LOL Thanks again for a great tutorial.

@carriefoscatodesign yeah I do, but our tools aren't as expensive has theirs can be. My dad bought a laser cutter and all the little accessories that goes with it. I about fell over when he told me the total cost. Let's just say I could pay all my bills and enough groceries to last six weeks and still have gas money left over for what he paid for that.

When making holes with the said punch or similar, i make my target mark with a metalsmiths punch instead of a sharpy marker
