Hi! In my render the light coming from openings is black and everything else is black, it looks like an inverted image. Also there is no slab visible in my model I imported from sketchUp, which I suppose is the cause of the problem. How can I fix this?
Hi Harsh, your model needs to be well closed and daylight transmitted through window glass. The program needs to know what is the interior vs exterior. With illuminance renderings the window glass appears black because they are light emitting sources and illuminance measures light received on surfaces.
You may have forgotten the 'surface' step. Glass windows' surface needs to be set with 'window glass' material so it can actually let the light go through.
Under the "Render" tab select animation. when pressing render you will be asked to select destination for the file on your PC, and options for the simulation (duration and frames per second). The quality of the image is set by the rendering options on the render tab (resolution and quality).
spud642007 same experience here, now I'm using Skp v8. My problem is that I cannot move with the camera in plan view to adjust the perspective. Has anyone experienced that?
Then I don't know. All of your groups and components should be exploded before importing, but it would still show a model even if you didn't explode it, I guess...
Exploding all the components won't help. The quickest solution is to export it as .dwg file and then import it into Daylight Vizualiser. Importing model as an .obj doesn't work either, god knows why.
