Thanks! Have you managed to get this working with audio input and (more importantly) output? I'd like to run a 32bit version of the Sibelius music notation app, and it's quite important to have audio output. If it's not possible to get audio working directly - any ideas on workarounds? I wondered if it was possible to create a virtual USB soundcard in the host OS, and then connect it through into the guest OS?
Ah, cool! I tried virtualising with virtual box, but audio is broken there. I’ll give it a go with parallels then. Thanks for the offer, nice of you! But no need to worry. I’ll give parallels a go first. And if not I’ll try some usb soundcards :) Thanks for the great video :)
Every time I try to download a copy of Mojave or High Sierra, Catalina says 'this 32bit application is not compatible on your current OS' and then deletes the file on me. Is there a work around for this?
You cant install High Sierra or Mojave on machines after 2017. also..if it doesn't let you download saying its too old..you can change your system clock date prior to 2014 or 2015. That should do it.
How to uninstall this, can u please explain uninstall also, because any problem cause I need to know how to uninstall too and I need to know why u getting a copy of installation lastly .please reply me because I need to install this
@@MacRS4 Thank u soo much for ur response if I need to uninstall Mojave from parallels and parallel from Catalina how to do that ? can u please make a video that also? please reply to me soon
@@nazeemaslam Oh that's easy - just right-click on the package in the Virtual Machine manager and click remove. You then have the option of putting the machine in the trash.
MacDoesStuff Thank u , Thank u soooo much, but I need to ask one more thing , this paralles software I’m using free app if I use this I’ll get any problems?
Yes - the signing cert of the package is no longer valid, so you will need to download a later copy. I may have it on my onedrive if you get stuck. Out and about at the minute so cant check - nudge me tomorrow if you need the link.
MacDoesStuff I've been downloading ISO files left and right, and I don't have any other Mac that's still running Mojave or earlier including my current 16-inch MacBook Pro. Haven't been able to download the current ISO copy from Apple on top of that
Hi, I tried downloading the Mojave OS on the app store, and after I download it, it has a error message and I can't seem to find the file under 'applications'. Do you have a dropbox link to the Mojave OS anywhere? So sorry and thank you.
@@MacRS4 I am having this issue as well, and the copy I do have is being flagged as an expired certificate. Are there any recent copies available online? Apple seem to have removed it from the App Store
Hi - the network is setup in the configuraiton of the virtual machine. It defaults to Shared I think, which is effectively NAT behind the IP of the default adapter on your host machine. You can also bind it direct to the network in which case it will pick up an IP address from your normal DHCP Server - Probably your Internet router. Same for DNS. The network works fine in this setup.
