Thanks for the video. It was so hard to find but just exactly what I was looking for. Quick question, will you say the excel on parallels works just as fast as natively on a pc with 32gb allocated to the windows on parallel?
It runs most x86 programs that I've found so far - although now and again I hit a bit of an oddity. In Excel for example trying to open multiple sheets doesn't always work, and it results in just the original s/sheet being opened. I've not really found anything that doesn't run at all, much like on Rosetta on the M1s. Even most of the outlook plug-ins I've tried so far work OK. I'll do a follow up when I've used it a bit more in anger. At the minute it only really gets used for Outlook & Visio.
It's a 16" 32GPU Core/10 Core/64GB RAM with 2TB of storage. Connected up to an LG 5K Screen, and a Kensington Thunderbolt 4 Dock. Dock has 10Gbe on it.

Standard edition of parallels only supports 8Gb per VM. You’ll need to go up a version to get support more. www.parallels.com/uk/products/desktop/whats-new/
I wouldn't say *all*, no. Most of the stuff I've found works on the M1 with Windows 11 in Parallels. Stuff I have issues with tend to be things like plug-ins for Outlook.
Omg NO WAY? Yeah of course I know that. A lot of office plugins - outlook especially - don't work on Mac however, and a lot of them do in a Windows VM. Also. Visio and Project work great in the VM.
