Nice tutorial. I had no idea what cut work was all about. I can see some small table runners for lamp tables where cutwork would look very beautiful and for the kitchen window.

Just make a little cut in the fabric, then carefully "pinch" the fabric and use a sharp point scissors to carefully cut the fabric but not the stabilizer.

Great tutorial. I have an issue though. With the machine Bernina Artista 200 I am trying this kind of cutwork. I use stabilizer after I cut the area and then the machine starts for the bridges to make holes. After the bridges complete, last time for the edges one last satin stitches are made. Then I take out the hoop and the fabric then use water. The problem is the bridges do not hold. I do not know why. Like an akordeon the bridges are ripped apart. One of my friend told me that it is because of the stabilizer type. She suggested me to use like nylon type water soluble stabilizer. Any idea?
