Did you start the pattern over twice to get than initial top line? Or is this a function built into your machine? I’m getting a Singer legacy, so not sure it will do this. Thanks, your work is so beautiful ❤
Actually, cutwork lace works well on clothes. Make sure you pick a design that is not too large for the fabric. Some experimenting is definitely needed. If you are struggling with the design holding its shape, you could use a layer of tulle underneath. It cuts away easily and provides more support to the thread after the stabilizer is washed away.

The designs are from embroideryonline.com. Pack number 12771 designs can be purchased as a pack or in a collection. They have several other freestanding lace designs as well.
