What a clever design ... and so quick to assemble. Your embroidered cover is BEAUTIFUL. TFS.

you could try Heat n Bond between the ribbon embroidery cover and the backing wool, This way it would "seal"any loose ribbons or threads in the middle of the fabric sandwich before you do the blanket stitch around the edge. just a thought.....

Could you have made it so you didn’t have to cut the pretty ribbon part? Maybe attach half of each of the slotted pieces to the cover leaving the cover In tact?🤔hmmmm

Such a wonderful idea and lovely stitching. Would waxing your Pearl Cotton have made it easier to use? Also, dropping thread and needle straight down to untwist the thread every few stitches. Thank you for sharing. 100% wool felt is awesome right. The blends just don’t do it for me. Have you thought about putting a small amount of emery in each needle page to keep your needles sharp and not rusting? Like by making a thin pocket on each page and the emery is put in the little pockets on each page. To keep the needle book from being too thick I’d alternate placement of emery-filled tiny squares or rectangles. That is what I’m going to do. Thanks for sharing. I’ll use like 4 strands silk instead of the Pearl Cotton. I think it will go more smoothly thru the wool felt. About what ml is thickness of your wool? Instead of the decorative pieces of wool on each page, that is where I would make a thin pocket of emery to keep my needles pristine. Your colors are lovely . Wow, that's so fast and easy! I found some actual wool felt and got a piece. It's really thick, but I love how nice it feels on my skin compared to craft felt, plus I heard it prevents the needles from rusting.

This is a fantastic design! I didn't have any wool, so I made it with flannel and thin batting to be able to use what I had. Came out great and it was fun to make! Thank you for the tutorial!
