I don't believe you can... even if they "had that feature" it wouldn't be accurate... It would be off by a minimum of a couple feet.

Why is there no fish alarm on this finder? This omission makes it extremely difficult and dangerous to use when tethered to a watercraft.

@@TheBoundlessNexus When it's tied to your boat, you can't look away from the screen without missing fish. You can't watch where you're going and use the finder at the same time.

@@MMgoforth I mean that's no different then any sonar, no? You're always going to have to look, an alarm would only tell you to look. I get what you're saying tho, with lots of dead water an alarm would be nice (and an easy feature to add)

@@TheBoundlessNexus Without the alarm, it's different from EVERY fish finder. And yes, it is a simple OTA update. Garmin refuses to do it because they think will reduce sales of their low end fixed mount fish finders. Dear Garmin, They're basically the same price. Where's the problem?!?!

@@TheBoundlessNexusI just got one. It probably doesn't have that feature for 130 dollar unit. I think it's great so far. I found out I was fishing where there were zero fish. 👍
