Hi there! Thank you for your interest in MiniFreak V. This VST is exclusively for MiniFreak hardware owners at the moment. It can't be purchased as a stand-alone plugin. To stay informed of any news about the instrument, feel free to subscribe to our newsletter here: bit.ly/newsletter-arturia Hope this helps! Best
such a thoughtful, well-planned integration with the hardware, as a day 1 orderer of the hardware version, this software version will be an essential companion especially for management of creations to/from software, awesome job, Arturia!
I picked up the V Collection as well as the Minifreak V for a $611 discount thanks to my past purchases! What an amazing company for rewarding loyalty like no other! THANK YOU ARTURIA
Hii very nice content!! Does this synth have full controll over everthing in de V lab software? Does it scroll to all te pre sets and controll all the knob if a synth is selected??? Regards A
Yesssss let goooo! The plugin and hardware are amazing. Thank you guy! I've purchased similar products but you guys have really be killing it with the build quality on everything so far.
Thank you Arturia you are the best! You produce excellent synthesizers perfect MID keyboards and good audio cards I wish you prosperity and a bright future
I sure hope to see this plug-in included in the V Collection 10? As an owner of multiple Arturia MIDI controllers, this would be a great addition to my other Arturia plugins. Great work!
It’s literally just Pigments ‘lite’ I understand that it ought to have a different sound depending on the oscillator types you choose but, realistically, EVERYTHING the Minifreak V / Minifreak are capable of can be replicated in Pigments 😂 Just saying, I don’t see it being an issue if this remains exclusive to MiniF owners for some time. As it is more than a simple plugin, it’s an editor and librarian for the hardware
This needs to be available for purchase separately from the hardware. I own multiple pieces of Arturia hardware as well as every single piece of software that Arturia makes. I don't want to buy any more hardware-based synths.
@@juliansvidal I'm a full on Arturia fan that continues to support and purchase every update, new instrument, and new effect. Feels weird to be excluded so that they can make 100 extra dollars on a hardware synth.
Totally agree. That’s what I thought the V in the name meant. And with a standard controller in the video was confusing. I didn’t realize it was fenced until I read the comments…
Hi Arturia! Excellent work on this soft synth! I just saw it became available to non mini freak users, great move! And at a wonderful special price too. Thank you! Will I be able to integrate this with my Microfreak ? I understand we won’t reach feature parity but maybe some basic controls? That would be amazing. Again, wonderful work to from software and hardware teams 🎉
According to the website, “As an exclusivity for MiniFreak owners, MiniFreak V is a, like-for-like software emulation of its hardware polysynth counterpart,” which is understandable, but I know that I would love to get this as well. I do everything in my DAW, and I have a KeyLab61mk2. Maybe they look at it as you should own some Arturia hardware?
Unfortunately I dont have much space left in my desk for another hardware synth but I love the sound of the Minifreak.....so please, let us buy it without the hardware.
Loving this stuff, the plugin sounds great. Micro Freak, Mini Freak and the Micro Brute kick ass and not your run of the mill me too synths. That's how you do it now days and still be competitive in a super saturated market place.
If you guys made the Minifreak hardware synth able to run the Analog Lab plugin, along with this software, the Minifreak would be an insta-buy for me. Hope you can do it!
I wish it had a click and drag to link mods and macros. Unless i missed that feature, it would be great to implement that similarly like Serum or Massive. Really loving this synth its so much fun to use
Arturia's work is completely amazing, they are pushing tons of great sources, however I would say that "Please" stop for a while and try to upgrade your sound engine, push boundaries further more, this will step up your game in the long run!
Hi, is it possible to have all the current settings of the hardware MiniFreak instantly dumped into an instance of MiniFreak v in a daw? You have shown that it is possible to load the contents of the plugin onto the synth itself by linking, but can it be done the other way around too?
Would the MiniFreak also function well as a controller with other plugins like Arturia V Collection or Spitfire stuff? Or is it best to stick with using it with Minifreak V and use another keyboard for everything else?
Good question! Do you know if this synth have full controll over everthing in de V lab software? Does it scroll to all te pre sets and controll all the knob if a synth is selected??? I am looking for this answers...Regards A
Wishful thinking has me hoping that Arturia will do similar virtual instruments for Microfreak, MiniBrute, MiniBrute 2, Drumbrute, and Drumbrute Impact…
I wish the software version would also have MPE capability. I can imagine performing with the hardware AND the software played over an MPE controller. Speaking of MPE, you could even implement MPE in the hardware unit. 6 voices are quite adequate for most MPE performances.
I bought Minifreak V software and I'm using it with Keylab61 mkII as a controller. I have also Drumbrute impact. Anyway, I couldn't accomplish to sync Minifreak V sequencer mode with Drumbrute as a clock. Any suggestion?
What about a version for people who owned MicroFreak? It will be nice... I am using one editor vst but not so amazing.... For sure done by you will be way better :) So any hope?
So it seems that any firmware updates for the MiniFreak is to be done through the MiniFreak V software... Is this correct? The MiniFreak is not in the MIDI Control Center, so much like the PolyBrute is updated through PolyBrute Connect.
I find it unfair that the MiniFreak V software has a visual piano-roll feature for its sequencer, and the Keystep Pro software doesn’t (which is supposed to be a dedicated sequencer!) I wish you’d provide the same visual sequencer for the Keystep Pro software. Thank you : )
Hi there! Yes, it should be out. If you're encountering any technical issues, we suggest contacting our support team here: www.arturia.com/support/askforhelp Our team will reply shortly :)
I'm loving my Minifreak to pieces, but my old computer does not have enough processing power for the V. Will there be a mode in the future, where the VST would be controlling the hardware, that would make the actual sound? I don't care for multiple instances of Minifreak in my DAW. I would rather have one instance with the exact patch saved into my DAW project, and be able to recall it on the hardware when I load the project on the DAW. I hope I made sense :D Please make this kind of mode available, Arturia!
There could just be a switch "plugin synth engine on/off", leaving the rest of the integration as is. I don't mind sacrificing the real time scope displays, though.
i just got my minifreak and almost all of the stock presets sound WAY different on my hardware...like really bad....compared to on my minifreak v vst....any idea why that would be? im not happy that my free vst sounds better then my $600 hardware synth

Does anyone know if it's possible, in Logic X Pro, how to route an other software instrument track's output (for instance a softwrae instrument track with a drum machine plugin) to the audio input in Artiria MiniFreak V plugin?
What about demo version? Does it work only when you have a synth or am I doing something wrong? The ability to test a hardware synth before buying is also quite revolutionary ;)
isnt this a crippled version of Pigments? or better @ARTURIA : what sound here wouldnt i be able to have as Pigments owner? If i am right, just tell the people here to go PIGMENTS
Everyone crying about not being able to purchase the Minifreak V, go out and buy the hardware like everyone else did. How would it look for someone to purchase a $600 hardware synth only for the software version to come out 2 weeks later? People would feel ripped off and betrayed and that’s how you lose your loyal customer base. Plus business wise it’s common sense.
