On BudgetEDH we build fun and optimized commander decks with a budget in mind. In this week's episode, we build a $100 budget Tuvasa the Sunlit deck from the Magic the Gathering Set Commander 2018. With the release of Theros Beyond Death, brings us some new powerful enchantments and auras to add to one of the most popular enchantment matters commanders ever printed. We will play this deck as a Voltron strategy, suiting up our Tuvasa with powerful auras, drawing a ton of cards with our enchantresses and getting in for commander damage early to beat our opponents.

You left aside a key creature: Bruna, Light of Alabaster. Gives you aura recursion from graveyard (for Free), cheats aura costs (for Free), steal auras from other players (for Free), good body (also 5/5), flies and has vigilance: for just over $1. Also, you could built a voltron deck out of Bruna with at least half the cards from Tsuvasa's deck.

Mike, really nice! I like that you have built in a lot of interaction into a budget deck. Perhaps add another board wipe or 2 and some grave hate?

Thanks for the vid! I run a Tuvasa deck that used to have a voltron element but now usually wins by either me Enchantressing myself with Omniscience into a lab man/thassa Oracle, or more usually people scoop after the following combos: 1. Enchanted Evening and Aura Thief (I take EVERYTHING FROM EVERYONE ELSE...including lands) 2. Enchanted Evening and Calming Verse (I blow EVERYTHING ELSE UP ANYONE OWNS...including lands) 3. Solemnity and Decree of Silence - nobody else can cast any spell ever. 4. Altar of the Brood (all my enchantments coming into play makes everyone else mill them selves out)

I have an incredibly similar deck with Rafiq of the many as the commander, I've always heard about how good Tuvasa is, looks like Rafiq is stepping down for a while.

Beyond Death did add a lot to the enchantments strategy. I think that Aphemia the Cacophony would be a good anti-Enchantress commander that plays really mean stax enchantments and curses

@@BudgetEDH a card that I'm testing for Aphemia is Blood Funnel. The way I see it is Blood Funnel is like a weird budget Ashnod's Altar

I quite literally have every all but 10 of these cards and I can get them when I go to my LGS tonight. And I was heavily considering building Eutropia as a deck. I already have a Siona list together and I had the thought that maybe I should just build Tuvasa or Kestia. And now I’m going to do just that. Also I like the Eel Umbra in this deck but there’s also that new aura from Theros that gives the creature +1/+1 and hexproof when the aura enters the battlefield. That one would be good too.

Eutropia could be a fun one to build around! Do you know what the card name is of that new one? Didn’t catch it when I was building the deck and sounds like a great card to include.

Love the deck but you have so many creatures that I would not consider this a vultron deck. I have a tuvasa deck and I only have 3 creatures including tuvasa. That’s vultron my friend
