On BudgetEDH we build fun and optimized commander decks with a budget in mind. In this week's episode, we build a $100 budget Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded deck from the new Magic the Gathering set, Theros Beyond Death. This powerful mono-red aggro commander is focused on putting big creatures onto the battlefield to deal massive damage to our opponents. We added several ways to keep our creatures around when Purphoros demands us to sacrifice them as tribute.

Something to note about the Godo combo is they can block the equipped Godo and it stops the combo. However, Helm of the Host says it makes a token at the beginning of combat, not when equipped creature attacks, so you move to combat, make a godo token, attack with token, extra combat, repeat.

I would recommend removing Artisan Of Kozilek, it can't be cheated out with Purphoros, it has a high cmc and unless you have Feldon create a token of it from the graveyard, it might not be worth spending 9 to cast it,when you could cheat out 3 creatures instead.

Strionic Resonator would be a good include since many of your creatures have triggered abilities like ETB, attack or death triggers. With so many dragons that have abilities, Sarkhan's Triumph might be a good toolbox card to tutor for a dragon you need.

I just ordered this deck. I brewed my own and then saw your video. It came out to under $100 without basic land costs. We put almost the same shit in it. Lol.
