Just a tip have always a small power bank if you have, no need something expensive from outside at the bottom has a mini usb in case you are out alone and the batteries run out. I haven't test it with a device if has firmware updates etc. Just give a try. :)

I would highly recommend this lock but you need to buy this from your local supplier or from an online store operating in your country for warranty claims just in case you need one. I’ve been using Tuya Smart Door Lock for more than a year with no issues at all

Press *#admin , press 3 for lock settings , press 2 for unlock mode, then press 4 to disable passage mode . If you enable passage mode using the menu settings , alternate na nag lo lock at passage mode everytime you touch the fingerprint panel
how many users can you add? and the procedure is done bij the administrator?just adding users ? do they get an accountnumber that you have to add in Tuya smart on your phone? where to find the account number then?
9 administrators, 100 fingerprints , 100 cards, and 100 passcodes . Only the admin can add an admin or user. Yes you can get the serial after adding a user or admin in the lock then create a user in the Tuya smart app and input that serial associated to a particular user
Hi, I have a similar door lock but different model. I set up the admin psswor and fingerprint but everytime I lock the door fr inside it just makes a noise and says door unlocked but the lock doesn't open. Any idea what couldbe wrong?
Also make sure that the little arrow on the back of the front half of the lock is pointing up during the install. Otherwise, you'll end up with a door that won't open or won't lock (even though it seems like everything is connected and working properly)
Use that passcode to unlock the door then listen to the serial or code assigned by the lock then press *#admin, press 2 for user , choose the delete user then input the code you want to delete
Hello, I have the Smart Lock K7 Pro Bluetooth. I noticed that some log registers does not show on Smart Life APP. When I use the bluetooth unlock via APP it registered correctly. I use a Smart Gateway as well. Do you know how I can fix it ?
@@JerroldEllo Thats my problem. I need such for my airbnb condos. And its really hard to find any "not chinese" stuff which brakes after a year. And even if i find something, than its still chines but labeled with made in germany or such stuff hahaha
If the door is in free passage mode , the door will be set to lock mode once you touch the fingerprint panel . Even if you lock the door, it can still be opened by anyone when in feee passage mode

Hi, i recently installed my locker, is exactly the same model, but i can’t connect whit the app, i follow the instructions, but i don’t know if a im chosen the correct mode, i tried to use the hotspot connection and the intelligent one, but they don’t work, seems that the locker ends the connection before the app can’t finish, can you help me?
@@JerroldEllo My phone is conected in a 2.4g network. Recently i bought a cleaning robot, which i connected in the Tuya app without trouble. Could you do a video of how do connect the locker on wi-fi? would help a lot

When you remove the door lock there’s a big screw that holds the handle. Loosen it then turn the handle to the opposite direction . Do this on the front and back door panels
From free passage mode automatic na ca cancel when you touch the finger print panel or use the ic card /passcode . You need to disable the free passage mode in the menu settings
Hi Jerrold I have no luck with the lock. It does not give me the press 1 to add admin option after I pressed * # 123456#. I reset it by pressing the button at the battery section and it is saying initialized successful, but the same after doing that. Can you please help?
Hi Jerrold. I managed now to set my code, finger print and card. However the door does not lock, it can always be opened from inside and outside, even if the deadbolt is ON. I disabled and enabled normal open mode by selecting 3 (passage mode) several times but still it does not lock either way. I will appreciate your help.......
If nag set ka ng new admin pass automatic ma delete ang default . Another option is to create a new admin pass then delete the default, after opening the door it will mention the serial . Navigate thru the menu, delete mo nalang using the serial corresponding to that 123456
If you touch the finger print panel and if it’s recognized by the lock ma set po ang autolock . If ayaw parin remove muna ang lock para ma test bago ibalik ulet

I have an issue after hard reset setting and then I'll try to connect my smartphone but there is no choice for system setting for network, only add user, delete user,passage mode and silent mode 😢
After pressing the hard reset button for 6-10 seconds , the lock should be restored to default factory settings . After entering the admin info ir should lead you to the main menu where 1 is for admin , 2 for user settings . 4 for network .
Yes I have tried this multiple time. I hear the message that the reset is successful and after entering the admin code, I don't get the settings options. I used to when I first installed it. Also, my user can still use their finger to open the door so it is not resetting properly
H there, I just install one of this lock, and I could access the menu because it not accept the factory admin password 123456#. When I reset it, it ask for initialization pass code…
this is a wifi version . Just tell your family member to create an account in Smart Life app in android or iOs then make them an administrator if you want them to control the lock
After hard reset, It just asks me to reguster administartor and then infinitly asks to register user. I can't event get into the same settings with only 4 keys lighting.
If you add a new administrator it will automatically remove the default admin. If it asks for a new user just press the go back button repeatedly to exit.
Hii! Paano po pag nakaconnect na sa wifi and sa app yung tuya and yun yung ginagamit to unlock the door. Pero paano po if wala ako sa bahay maaccess ko pa po ba yung app using different wifi po? Ma-unlock and lock ko pa po ba kahit nasa malayo ako at I’m using different wifi or kahit data po?
Yes you can still access the app as long as meron ka internet sa phone . If naka autolock Lang pwede mo ma unlock if someone presses 9# then click mo ang yes or confirm . If naka free passage mode d mo pwede ma lock remotely
@@JerroldEllo Paano po if yung nakaconnect na wifi doon sa tuya is walang connection or namatay yung wifi ma-access mo pa po ba sa cellphone mo yung tuya application to open the door po?
@@mariemendoza2467 unfortunately hindi kasi when somebody presses 9#, it will send an unlock request to your phone. You can create a temp pin on your app but it will not be recognized by the door if it's disconnected from your home wifi network.

If you touch the fingerprint panel , it will activate the autolock , pwede din disable mo sa menu or cancel the three passage mode there . Newly installed ba to? Or it just stopped working ?
