Great video. I purchased the smart lock. But I haven't installed it. Do I need a mechanism so that deadbolt comes out when you turn up the handle?cannot find any. All the mechanisms are using key to bring out deadbolt
If I leave the house and close the door without lifting the handle, does the door lock automatically? So that no one can enter? Or is it necessary to lift the handle every time I leave the house to lock it? Thank you
I put the finger id and the code number, but when I put the tag the answer is: please enter a secund ID, so I put the finger and open. Well my door need two confirmation. Can you help me? I change that! Just go in System Settings: choose single settings.

Thanks for the video! Is it possible to disable the auto lock when door closes? I tried the passage mode, it works but now I cannot lock from the inside. Even if I activate deadbolt from inside, person outside can open it without passkey or fingerprint. I had to disable passage mode to be able to lock it from the inside. Tnx
mine does not auto lock and anyone can open the door from inside. is there a way to lock door from inside as well which requires remote unlock or admin to open same as from outside. because kids can open the door from inside easily

Yes , it will still automatically lock . It’s better to install a door closer . It’s more of a spill proof but not totally waterproof since there’s a tiny hole at the bottom for the physical key
Sensibo is nice but pricey. You can use a humidity sensor that will trigger the smart plug to switch on your ac if the room is reaching a specific temp threshold. If you want to make sure that it’s off when you’re out , you can use IFTTT. Sonoff TH10 sensor only cost P710, Sensibo cost P5k.
Thanks for this video i install mine and i have issue. From inside when turn up the handle locks, from outside it doesn't pop out the lock and leave house unsafe, tried it with admin from outside and user then i push it up to lock the bar doesn't do anything... what need to do? thanks.

I did not encounter a problem luckily since installation. If you're planning to get one, there is a new version which allows free access so that you don't have to unlock each time you enter especially when you are just staying at home. Only 2 IC cards are included but you can provide or generate a PIN code
Battery life depends on usage. There’s always someone in the house so we do not unlock the door frequently. If battery is your concern there is a newer model where you can charge the door lock via the USB port .
Intelligent connection option is for your lock to be connected to your wifi. After chowing that option the lock should be blinking before you connect it through the app. Make sure you input the right SSID and wifi password
If you want to remove the passcode press *#admin then 2 for user . Delete the passcode associated to that user . Go to the app then click user . Delete the passcode of that user
Sir, I'm renting our condo unit to guests. Do I need to change the passcode after the booking or can i just give temporary passwords to my guests without changing the passcode itself? What's the difference between the Bluetooth version (price 2k+) and the wifi version (3k+)?
Just create a temporary passcode. You can set it to expire at a certain date and time. The good thing is you can do it in the smart life / Tuya app without even going to your condo if you’re able to connect the lock to your wifi network

sir i got tuya smart door lock just a month ago but til now it's wont open the door when I unlock it. I followed evrything the seller told me what to do from restoring the factory system to adjusting the motor direction but I just couldn't make it work. any advice I can get 🙏🏻
It comes with a drilling template for you to know exactly where to punch holes. My dad helped me install this lock. Hanap ka nalang ng carpentero dyan malapit sa inyo for sure marunong sila mag kabit nyan.

That’s easy. Just open your door using the smart card and listen to the serial or the code that will given by the voice prompt. You can also see the serial reflected in the app. Press the *#admin then you press to for user settings , press 2 again to delete then enter the code .
If you will be using a third party app like the IFTTT, use the Smart life. Both apps are practically the same when it comes to the functionality. You can use the same account / username in either app.
Every time you unlock the door it will be reflected in the smart life app or Tuya app. You can also hear the voice response corresponding to the serial.
my problem is that even if the door is locked from the inside; anyone can open it from the front door without using anything, the person can easily enter the house by just lifting the door handle. This means; the key, card, or finger detection never works. what shall I do? thank you
My google home serves as a central app for all my smart devices. I can see the app added in my google home but I can’t control this smart door lock. I can only open remotely thru the Tuya smart or smart life app.

Each deco is supposed to connect devices wirelessly within the 2000 sq meter but don’t expect too much. You need to connect the router to the main deco and it doesn’t really matter how long since you have to connect the 2 using a utp cable
Hello I want to know how can i unlock my door using wifi or smartlife app remotely without pressing 9+# key. Or I want my alexa to open the gate directly whenever I say open the door my model is similar to yours
With this version you need someone to press the 9#. Merong version na Hindi na kelangan but you need to buy a gateway around P1700 if you need this remote unlock feature na walang user intervention. I haven’t tried using a virtual assistant pero I think it’s possible . I’ll check muna paano ma open using google assistant .

I’m sorry you cannot disable the lock that way for safety reason. In case of emergency like when there is fire or earthquake , it’s important that the people can get out fast and easy. Just install a latch/ sliding bolt in the upper portion that is beyond his reach .
Energizer. Battery life depends on usage. May tao kasi sa bahay lagi so no need to open the door from the outside which will consume the battery. It’s been 4 months and the batt is still full. It could last up to a year according the the product specification.
I just bought my home and need your help to change the password and make new users. All I know is the user password they give me is it enough to reset the device and make new users?
Just do a hard reset if by pressing the reset button inside the battery compartment for 6 seconds until you hear the voice prompt that the lock is restored to factory default settings . Create an admin account after reset to manage the lock and users
You can always unlock it if you will be using your admin account. If you enable the deadbolt/deadlock from the inside, all user accounts will be disabled.
Have same problem, lift lever up inside or outside to operate dead bolt. Anyone can open by pressing lever down inside or out. Looks like its in passage mode, now to figure out how to get out of it as manual is next to useless.
Sorted, reset the lock with a small pin. Lift lever up from inside bolt shoots forward. Install batteries! Downloaded the Smart app and uninstalled the Tuya app. Registered me as Admin, assigned pass code, swipe card, finger print, phone number etc. Now works as it should.
If you order in bulk from the manufacturer you can request an ORig manufacturer equipment meaning you can have your name as the brand , what’s important is for the lock when advertised it had the Tuya Smart kasi app lng naman

Do you know by any chance why the lock is not staying lock? Like, for example, I can lock the door and the lock come on but it does not stay, when I push the handle down the lock just unlock without me using card, pin or any touch
@@JerroldEllo I deactivated through the app but it doesn’t stay lock again. By the time I push the handle down the lock goes inside again without the need of a key or anything
I reset the system! But now I can enter even as admin! Even I used 12345, I addition now any one can enter by fingerprint without any registration! Also, I can not control the number it repeated by itself like is there is problem!

I didn’t install a Tuya doorbell but I think you can check that in the scene tab in your Tuya or smart life app. Check the automation coz ur doorbell might be connected by default .

I’m. not familiar with TTLOCK since I connected the Tuya smart door directly to my wifi. To access the menu using the smart life app I just need to press *#. If I press the 9# it will request remote unlocking thru my phone.
@@JerroldEllo I tried all of that but I can’t put the lock in pairing mode without doing 9#/*# both don’t work even after reset and removing ttlock.. somehow if I press it it says failed like if you press the wrong passcode. Maybe it is something else idk how

The store in Shopee no longer carry this lock , the one they’re selling right now is with a hub to connect to the internet . I will try to look for a similar item then k will let you know this week
It works fine with Tuya or smart life app as long as your wifi has a 2.4ghz band. You just need to login , click manual, security and surveillance tab, click the lock , hit next and make sure the lights in the lock are blinking signifying that it’s ready to connect to your wifi network
@@almaza9260was it advertised in the online shop? some versions cannot connect to the internet. Tuya or smart life app should have been included in the ad.

I bought the lock in Jan 2021 for P4,075 only pero generic Tuya smart door lock kasi to walang model number . Meron na updated version neto at meron ding kelangan ng gateway (P1400)
If you don’t have the manual key, it’s not possible to open the door if your locked out . Pwede mo lang tanggalin ang screw from the inside portion of the lock
