We all know what it's like to believe in something with the potential to change everything only to be disappointed when things don't work out in any way we hoped or planned. Followers of Jesus felt that after the crucifixion.
The revolution they thought they were part of wasn't going happen, but while they were mourning the death of their friend, their leader, and their dream, Jesus walked through the wall of of the locked room they were hiding in.
What does that mean? Were they back on track? Was the dream not really dead? Would they pickup where they left off just as if Jesus hadn't been executed?
No. Instead the time following the resurrection was a time of reset, recalibration, and reimagining what the Jesus Revolution was really all about.
