Hayley wasn't proud or happy about what she did ,she did tell Tyler to run , Hayley isn't responsible for Tyler's mom death it is Klaus who did it but I get it he is a guy he can't do no wrong, Hayley was desperate to find out what happened to her parents.

I love Hayley. Many keep attacking her without thinking first like think from from her side of view. Like yes she did not so good things but it's like she was proud of it and don't act like the others are perfect and also the ones who do it and love it you still love them like mainly the guys like Klaus Damon mainly the guys apparently they can do no wrong

I didn’t like Hayley in TVD. But then she got to New Orleans. Pregnant with Hope. She was orphaned when she was a baby. Kicked out of foster care when she activated her curse. She was desperately trying to find her family. Mikaelsons were the first people, in-spite of arguments and fights in between, to truly give her a home and a family. And she spent the rest of her life defending and fighting beside them. She was loyal to the Mikaelsons. Like them she did everything for family, consequences be damned. I think that’s one of the reasons she fit so well with the Mikaelsons.
