Ngl the saddest part of her decision to go back is the fact that she potentially left Damon to die alone like Stefan, Caroline, Tyler etc all had each other and Damon had no one 😢
I honestly don’t get that because obviously they met first but It wouldn’t have changed anything Damon was still Damon and Stephan was still Stefan and even if Damon hadn’t compel Elena to forget Stephen would have still saved Elena from the bridge and they would have met at school and fell in love
Best thing for me is that.... in 6th season her dialogue to damon in which she said to damon..... " matt was driving back me back to him and yet i found my way back to you ,damon i somehow always find my way back to you "...my favourite line
@@vxwsecr she practically had no choice, she was left alone in season 3, without love of her life, without family, people who would take care of her and Jeremy... and with a guy who kept hitting on her, offering her at least some feeling of comfort... I feel like she had no other choice than fall for Damo to not lose her mind, she was just 18, alone, scared, always facing danger and loss. If Damon respected her relationship with Stefan, didn't jump into her bed without her consent and other stuff, she would never fell for him... With Stefan, it was real. They fell in love as two humans, even at the edge they were happy together, they built that strong love, respect and undestanding and became one. That is love, not manipulation, abuse, sirebond etc. She even said in 4x01 that Stefan is the best choice she has ever made, which means she loved him and was proud of loving him because she considered him her best choice. But when she chose Damon, she even said that she knows it's the worst choice, but she can't help it, because she loves him which is kind of a definition of toxicity.

@r s6 actually just proves my point to me. I mean, her explanation of why she fell for Damon proved that she was practically forced to fall for him. Like I said, she was left alone, scared, didn't know if she would ever see Stefan again, all she needed was hope, comfort and at least some leap of faith that the man she loved will come back to her. And Damon came and gave it to her for the one tiny moment and during this moment she felt love for him. This seems to me more like a sympathy than love. Besides, that seems to me toxic again because she said it was the most selfless he has ever been. He wasn't selfless person then, actaully he was a person able to kill even people she loved, he was able to try to turn her into something she didn't want to be just because he couldn't lose her, and then she fell for the ona tiny moment when he was selfless which means she didn't fall in love with him, but the potential he had, which is just completely wrong, I mean, if you love someone, you should love them for what they are in the moment, not what they could possibly be. Stefan was selfless most of the time and she has never mentioned any moment when he was selfless as the reason why she fell for him, she didn't even have to explain, during s1 you could clearly see how they fell in love. I remember that once Nina said that Elena just love the person Stefan is, she loves this warm personality he has and Elena herself mentioned later that he is the most compassionate person she has ever met and during s3, she has emphasized many times that she knows very well who he is, that's why she will never give up on him. Basically, she loved the whole package, she loved who he is, not just the potential of who he could be or just some rare moments with him. And there is a huge difference between making mistakes during the difficult period of life when you lost everything you have including yourself, you feel completely lost, and then you regret it and try to do your best to make it up and make sure you won't make these mistakes again, and making the same mistakes over and over again, whenever any problem stands in your way although you are hurting the person you love in the process. Stefan didn't make the choice to become a ripper, he was literally forced to become what he hated the most to save his brother and then compelled by Klaus to turn off his humanity, although he tried to protect it for Elena. Klaus literally put him through hell and after that Stefan made many mistakes because how could any person deal with such things? But he regretted it, tried to make it up to Elena, he respected her, gave her any space she needed, didn't even question her actions when she tried to find out what she felt for Damon and until the final moment stood by her side just to make sure she will be okay. Damon on the other hand... I mean, yes, he was abuse victim so I can't blame him for his anger and sorrow. But he never learnt from his past mistakes, he hurt Elena many times and everytime anything happened he just automatically chose the worst way how to deal with it. In my opinion, if anyone helped him to change and awaken the best of him, it was Bonnie not Elena. He was terrible person around Elena most of the time. I truly felt that something changed in him around Bonnie and he learnt how to be a better person next to her. That is why, although I like Borenzo very much, I still feel that Bonnie was the best possible match for him and his true soulmate.
I think this was unfair and I did cry the first time. Damons disappointment is sad. She just should have picked damon. The storyline would be different so I guess that they had to make her choose stefan. If she didn't then in the end she wouldn't have ended up with damon. The sire bond and heightened feelings maybe it was right that her feelings for damon overpowered her feelings for damon. Showed how even after she picked stefan she was hiding her feelings and didn't know what she wanted. Delena is definitely my favorite. Although it was sad especially as she had met him first. And also when she ' died ' and alaric died damon did cry.
So, the reason why Elena didn’t choose Damon because she didn’t love him enough as human, Elena’s feelings for Stefan over powered her feelings for Damon. She already had her mind made up about on who to choose, she was just afraid of hurting one of them and that person was Damon. There were subtle hints that she was gonna choose Stefan in season 3 and it was gonna be him, Elena was holding hope onto Stefan the entire time while having feelings for Damon. She never had that hope for Damon, that’s why it was easy for her to deny him because of who he was. Every time Elena rejected him, he would hurt her in some way and she couldn’t be with him because of the morals she believed in. Morals means a lot in relationship, if they’re not the same…the relationship will never work. The sirebond didn’t make Elena love Damon more, the sirebond was placed there because she had feelings for him before she had died, it was the reason why she decided to be with him because never wanted to be with him after first. Elena being a vampire intensify her feelings for Damon, but those were feelings she already had tho just not as human.
@@Moonlight-yx5sgI don't think it's because she loved Stefan more than Damon. If she loved Stefan more, she'd feel bad about letting Damon go but she wouldn't cry like she was crying on the phone. Her feelings for Damon were a lot more powerful than Stefan but she chose Stefan because she is grateful to Stefan for being there for her at the time when she lost her parents and needed someone. She felt obligated to choose Stefan. She also knew that choosing Damon would be against her morals, and if she picked Damon, she'd love him more than she had ever loved anyone (which turned out to be true). She was scared of this love (which teen/young adult) wouldn't be. In short, Stefan was the safest road, while Damon was the most adventurous
It's easy for Elena to love Stefan. He's an angel. I get what Rose was saying now. Choosing Damon is harder and he's the 'road less traveled by' but when you go down that road your life will never be the same again. This story was about the underdog. Damon is the love of her life. And Stefan is her soulmate. He's her guardian angel. Her protector. That's the best way I can conclude all of this! Btw, can we all jus take a minute to thank Bonnie for saving the day, again.
When Matt is taking her home, and she doesn't make it because her home is 100 miles out of town. Then Damon takes her home from the bridge in 4x6 as he was meant to in 3x22 because she was his girlfriend. She unfell for Stefan in season three, and she knows it.
stefan was the better choice, but the writers ruined hta when they had Elena turned into a vampire and get lustful towards damon. plus stefan only thought her as a broken toy because she was struggling as a vampire and was in hell, and she said in seaosn 2 she never wanted to be one. human elena will always be better
Elena and stefan were too perfect together it never seemed realistic to me. When damon and elena are together it feels right but elena doesn’t wanna admit that because of damons reputation.

I'm team Stefan but when Elena told Damon she loved Stefan and he said it's always gonna be Stefan I felt so much for him. I love em both. Stefan❤Elena❤Damon-> Forever
Oh sorry baby in season 6 she told damon that Matt was driving me to him but I found way come to you and I always will..and they did ended up together as humans 😂😂..
