The backing music during the first draw with Shirley Strachan is Italian by Joel Fajerman.

I swear the music from the TVT announcement was used by TVT for a kids show also. Sounds so familiar. The one with Shirl in it is 1982

Yes it was used as backing music on the Saturday Fun Show with Jim Shoes.

Looking at the old draw dates, the first video would be from 17 July 1982 (confirming that 1982 date someone else gave) The second video with John Deeks was from 8 October 1988 - so yep, still eighties.
