One more bit about the Furies. They are really useful for quickly tying up ranged units while your force rushes into melee. If you can set them onto enemy artillery or missiles you deny them any kills and once you've closed the distance it's really hard for the enemy to get value. For that reason I often see missile units as fodder in the enemy armies even though they get a lot of autoresolve power. As Khorne this is really important to do because you have very few missile options and none of them really stand up to other factions missile units so otherwise you have no reply as you rush into melee. Warhounds and other fast units in the roster obviously clean up missile infantry well. But they take a lot longer to access the missile infantry. Furies can fly straight over. I consider them Chaos' version of Fell Bats from the Vampire Counts roster, and we know there are a lot of similarities in fighting style between Khorne and the Vampire Counts.
Thanks for the guide! I loved the addition/rework of the Beastmen in WH2, and especially loved Taurox, so I knew instantly I'd wanna go for Skarbrand since I see them as pretty similar. The advice was great cause I was a tad confused on their bloodhost mechanic, but now it seems an awesome addition and very thematic to him. Do you have any recommendations for early game army building?
hmm, I like the warriors of khorne, the ones with axes and shields, but bloodletters especially the advanced ones are solid. make sure to get some fast units though to kill archers
Taking advantage of the ambush > extra movement exploit I should finish a map dominance on turn 12. Currently I am 47 armies strong. Lol don’t have to pay upkeep if you never end turn.
When you sack the only option you have during the same turn is colonize or do nothing even if a blood host is following. A city needs to have living troops inside it to have the option of blowing it up.
@@rrail511 not confirmed. But lot of hints. Ihints could be about something else entirely. I think they can treat planets as provice like entities and cities on a planet as settlement type entities. Also battles need to be changed a lot witha lot of emphasis on transports.
