It seems like that is like the megaflow overflow kit. What size pipe are you running for your return and durso pipe?

Another great vid. Hope you are healthy and doing great. Why do you think algae grows in overflow and not in aquarium? It sounds like placing a lid in all in one reservoirs might be a good idea also. All in ones are becoming popular. Really love your vids

Set up a durso but im getting air bubbles in my reefmat any ideas ?

i just set up a new tank with a durso, I have no flushing or air sounds at the overflow, but the water/air coming into my sump is SUPER turbulent and loud. My stand has a open back for ventilation which adds to the issue. Do you have any suggestions for reducing the turbulence coming into the sump? I've seen many suggest a filter sock, but I don't really like the idea of having to change even more socks every few days. Thanks!

I made the exact durso but when i turn off my return pump the Siphon doesn’t break. How can i prevent that?

Mine has two holes on the side of the elbow as well as the vent hole on top. It came like that from the lfs I bought the tank setup from. It’s super noisy so thinking about putting on a new elbow with no side holes and drilling a new hole on top

What do you do for like the splashing noise from the water where it drains into the sump, I have a tank with a Durso in my room that is silent. But I'm upgrading to a larger tank and when I check for leaks in my garage I noticed the louder noise. I already have a filter sock and pvc that goes about an inch below water line, it does help but not as quiet as if like. Would putting bigger whole in the vent of the Durso help with that?
