Tweedledum is playing a lot of Chess, maybe he doesn’t want it that much, just his parents… I live on the other side of the world, another culture. I found it a bit stupid that the gentleman didn’t take it as a joke or respond with a joke at the time of the greeting. He’s just a child. His name is German Yunker. At the time of this chess "game" he was 6 years old, chronologically, but what that means in his particular case is debatable. He most certainly does Not rationalize with the mind of a child, regardless of all those wits advocating for his innocence. To suggest that this "child" is unaware of the effects upon the opposition by his antics during the match is simply ludicrous. Cunning, with the intent to defeat the foe, by hook or by crook, is a dominant aspect of his Nature. Anyone failing to see that this very young genius intentionally engages in distraction tactics is blind, at least in one eye.

It's just a child! Someone told him to play chess and his opponents expecting him to behave like an adult? And the people in the comments are saying that a little discipline wouldn't hurt him. That's the child's parents job to decide whether he needs discipline or not. I hope that person has no children. I have no respect for people like him.

Being 'just' a kid does not make it right to behave like this. If everyone just allows him to behave how he want, he'll end up as an entitled adult. And just try to make an adult, who is misbehaving, behave. That will go well...
@RiverWorksCo
@RiverWorksCo 8 месяцев назад
@@bramvissers4985 as I said before, it is the PARENTS who decide whether to discipline the child or not. If they don't like how a 7-8 year old child behaves, they shouldn't play with him. He is a child. That's his full time job. To be a kid. Full stop.
@bramvissers4985
@bramvissers4985 8 месяцев назад
@@RiverWorksCo That's wholly backwards. If he can't behave when he is in an adult environment playing with them, then he shouldn't play with them, full stop. The adults are not misbehaving, it is him. Also, he is not being 'disciplined', but he gets to see how people don't appreciate how he sometimes behaves, and how that can have consequences. That's a valuable lesson, whether it is at home or in the real world. Being a kid is LEARNING how to behave. Only having people around you accomodate your every little tantrum is borderline child abuse.

The bigger child was struggling (emotionally) throughout the game. Sad actually, as the older child actually looks for respite from the officials because...? The so-called real child hit the timer too hard..LOL

Agreed. And cunning, deceptive, disruptive... He wants to win, he expects to win, and he is perfectly willing and capable of using any of his many talents to accomplish his goal. All the bleeding hearts in this chat defending his disruptive behavior are either blind or dumb. Being born with exceptional gifts of logic and reasoning ability does not exempt this kid from the basic requirements of civility and fair play other participants in these chess tournaments are expected to abide by. He was called out, openly and publicly, and he doesn't like or expect that to happen. For whatever reason (s), his name is absent from the current lists of competition chess, from what I can find. That's a good thing, for him.

OMG! I can understand that Russia is a spartan country, but a child is a child... Puajjjj

I think this kid needs a little break. He needs to play, run, go to the field, feel free in words, he needs to be a child. His Parents have him trapped in constant competition. He cannot speak, the child expresses it with his body. It seems that he is bored, he yawns, he is telling them that he doesn't like that. Just because he's a genius doesn't stop him from being a child.

Parents should be blamed for not teaching their child to show respect to others, sit politely on the chair, and tap the timer gently, shaking hands .. Kid can not be blamed at all because he simply kid But the best lesson to learn from this game , u have to get used to the a lot of lossing games before going to be grandmaster !

Yet kid didn't push a pawn to e5, so it is not French anymore and no blac-self-assfixia will occur. "Oh, random passbyer - beware of playing french defense... "

Да, его "компьютер" работает быстрее. В свободное от игры время можно записывать ходы. Тренер подсказал.
