Twenty One Pilots - Car Radio Reaction 

this was shot at an actual concert early on in their career - they did come out and tell the crowd what they needed from them for the music video and they delivered perfectly this is probably the most important song to twenty one pilots fans across the board - if you don't get this song then you probably aren't going to really get their music (in my opinion) some other songs to get to know them: Ode to Sleep Migraine Trees (Live at Fox Theater) Lane Boy when you do get into the storyline behind their music, there is a very specific order to these videos: Heavydirtysoul Jumpsuit Nico and the Niners Levitate Saturday The Outside Overcompensate

This song was the first to capture my attention and my heart. It began my Twenty One Pilots rabbit hole dive. There is no going back -- it is an amazing journey of brilliant music.There is a special relationship between this group and the fans! Mutual respect for sure. I subbed today hoping for more Twenty one Pilots.

Car Radio is from the 2013 album called Vessel and if you want to go in order other key tracks from Vessel would be Ode To Sleep (a great intro to their history), Migraine, Holding On To You, Guns For Hand and Trees (the live version from Fox Theater is the go to version). The 'Lore' doesn't really start until the Blurryface album and we can guide you through it.

great choice of video to react to, very powerful lyrics and visuals in the video. This song is a true story about how Tyler's car radio was actually stolen and he couldn't afford to replace it and he realised how much he used music to distract him from his thoughts. They often wear ski masks for part of their concerts and they started doing this early on to represent that they they wanted to create something "faceless, that can kind of represent a group of people or have people relate to it.'' The mask kinda seems like it's a way for him to hide what he's feeling from other people or to give him the confidence to present himself in front of an audience. i think the hair shaving is a sign of how strong the emotions he is feeling are and needing a fresh start, it is also used by the band in videos to show how the stories they are telling are continuous cycles, his hair is back at the end of this video.

Twenty One pilots can be very deep with their lyrics. Tyler spends a lot of time especially in his early career talking about depression suicide anxiety things that he struggled with in his life and he tries to reach others. He leaves his music pretty open for interpretation and you can take things more than one way and that's something very neat about their music. Keep going down the rabbit hole you will not be disappointed. This is a 54-year-old man that's been a twenty One pilots fan for years and been to about four concerts. They're amazing for a band of two guys Tyler is extremely talented. Keep up the great work.

Don't be sorry! At least you're giving them a shot, which is more than a lot of people. Lol. Hell. I didn't even know they existed until mid/late 2021, and aside from a couple of songs, I *hated* the way they sounded. But I wanted to like them becauae of those couple of songs. And after I found out what their message was in their music I started listening for the lyrics regardless of what the song sounded like. And that's what made me love them. Their message. Their pleas for us to not hurt ourselves. To stay alive. My love for the music side of things came later. But gotdam. There was a long time that I could not get through the Self Titled album without crying at least twice because of how deep the lyrics hit because they were things I lived. And things I nearly took my life over. There's a lot of us out here where we feel like the lyrics to certain songs are speaking directly to us.

They are like NF the way they connect their songs. It’s their on universe. Start with the album Vessels. That’s where it all starts to connect. From that album you should listen to “Stressed out”(I’m sure you guys have hear this one already) after that do “Lane Boy”, “Ride”, “Tear in my heart”, Fairy local”, The judge”, Message man”, “Goner” and finish with “Heavydirtysoul” but I know you guys have done that one already. Then it goes to the album “Trench”. Start with “Jumpsuit”(it’s the continuation of Heavydirtysoul) then “Nico and the Niners”, “Levitate” after that do “The Hype”(Regular version and Berlin version) then “Cholrine”, “Neon Gravestones”, followed by “Moph”, “Bandito”, “Pet Cheetah” and finish with “Leave the City”. Then their most recent album you should listen in this order. “Shy away”, “Saturday”, “Outside”, for the music videos. Then go in order from the album then check out the live performance which plays more into the Dema lore. And the upcoming album comes out on May 17 with 2 songs already out. Which this new album is all lore and closing the story that has been built for 10 years

Their catalogue is EXTENSIVE, so plenty of content! I’ve been a fan of theirs since almost the beginning and their music transcends genre. Tyler’s is a lyrical genius who speaks in metaphors that have such deep rich meaning and tie beautifully to the story he’s tying to tell and the beat of the song. He and Josh are magic together. If you u ever get a chance to see them live, do it. I’m 42 and been to tons of concerts in my life, their show has been unmatched.

Car Radio is my absolute favorite tøp song. Many, many of their songs have a plea for others to stay alive. This one has a lovely line about choosing between hope and death: “And there's faith and there's sleep We need to pick one please because Faith is to be awake and to be awake is for us to think And for us to think is to be alive And I will try with every rhyme To come across like I am dying To let you know you need to try to think” Tyler has said he often said that he writes music with the idea of it being played live, then alters it for studio recordings. I’m 49 and got into this band on their last tour because I took my son to their concert so I did a deep dive months before the concert and learned all their songs. Their concert was so good it kicked out the reigning champion for me who was Michael Jackson that had held that spot since 1984! Now that was MJ and that’s a bold statement but they just did.. it had to do with the fact that after the MJ concert I didn’t say I WILL GO TO EVERY CONCERT until I die like I did after I saw TØP! It also has to do with the lore the entire story is so freaking fun we are at the end of this story with this new tour so you gotta catch up and get tickets they are on sale now also I got nosebleeds last time and it didn’t matter still fantastic show! This time got killer seats though! Subbed for this journey! Let’s gooo!
