I always interpreted the visuals as no matter where Tyler's legs may take him, his heart will always remain at home next to his mother taking care of her.
This is a legit fear of Tyler's mom that she is worried about who will take care of her when her husband dies - all the music they do has a real back story or point to it Being cut in half is them being torn between pursuing music and taking care of their families I'd recommend Car Radio Ode to Sleep Lane Boy
Cool to hear you sharing about your relationship with your family. Tyler said in interviews that although the melody sounds verey cute the lyrics to the song are actually quite dark and a bit morbid and they wanted the video to reflect that and to show the feeling of being pulled in 2 directions and living in the limbo of, not just being willing to die for the people you love, but figuirng out how to live for your family each day.
These guys are super close to their families, but being on the road made them feel torn between pursuing their dreams and being around to care for their families- like they were cut in half in terms of their purpose and focus.
About mom! Got money, take care of her, even if no money! HEAVY DIRTY SOUL next, Fairly Local is my favorite, new subscriber! PS thanks for reacting to TOP!!!
Damn DTV, this is a side of you that I did not expect you had. I got some music you gonna love. You a real man dude. Real men take care of their moms when they get older. It's suicide prevention month. How about doing "Neon Gravestones" its a song that discuses the topic of celebrity's suicide. "How could he go if hes got everything?" its a very deep song with dense lyrics we can have fun picking apart. The last line of the song is guaranteed to put you in your "feels" based on what you've said in this vid. Also as a survivor of two suicide attempts the song is kinda special to me. "NEON GRAVESTONES" get a lyric vid.
I think i forgot how much I love Twenty One Pilots and their songs... I also absolutely love your reactions to them, hearing about your relationship with your family actually made me a bit emotional! For future reactions I suggest Migraine, Chlorine, Heavydirtysoul and Neon Gravestones ❤️
Thanks for allowing yourself to be vulnerable with us. I saw you shed that tear. This song is very real and relatable like you said. I’d recommend you react to “Ode To Sleep” next by TØP. Great reaction 🙋🏻♀️🙌🏼👏🏼👌🏼💜🇨🇦
I think you would enjoy either Lane Boy or Ode to Sleep next. The Ode to Sleep official music video is a kind of documentary style which gives a quick run down of their come up. The song itself is as schizophrenic as anything though, but sooo good.
I loved your reaction. New subscriber. From what I understand the video is showing their bodies are split. One side is far away, the other is always at home but not being fully there. Their intentions of being so far away is to take care of everyone. Could be wrong but hopefully it makes sense.
Subscribed! Loving your TøP reactions! You’re on their Vessel album, so keep doing those- Ode To Sleep Migraine Holding On To You Guns For Hands Are all great choices next! Ode To Sleep is a good documentary style video that gives you a little band history.
So I'll explain the reason behind his torso being split in half. The reason is because he has to work on his career and wants to be there with his family also the whole line of "Will you buy me a house of gold" is insinuating that she needs him
Aww... I am sure your mom knows how much you love her! If you aren't sure, tell her all the time. Moms never hear it too much! This is a great song. I agree with the others though, not the best "next" song to do. But it made you think about your mom, so it was definitely worth the listen, right?
