nice to see this guide! i really like L1 ince they are just so solid, i think iets very hard to have a bad game with them. also that home system might just be the best in the game if you ask me, really great kit one edit: you recommended sarween tools for the yellow tech and said you would be using production and sling relay a lot, however sarween unfortunatel doesnt work with sling relay. this is just my preference, but i really like instead going for ai development, since it qualifies you for the 2 in one color objective, gives the same yellow prerequisite and opens up duranium armor and destroyer 2, both of which are very good with L1
i played my 2nd game ever with L1Z1X and i really enjoyed how easily it was to take planets and systems. i had upgraded dreads and upgraded destroyers and my mid game fleet was pretty much unstoppable. they easily munched at whatever system i wanted. also made a good swing end game to take a home system to stop vp scoring. sadly, i left my home system unguarded and a Ghost player wormhole'd me and took my home system and i wasnt able to get back to it.. ended with 9 points and lost... I really enjoyed this faction. For tech i'd recommend Inheritance systems, super dread, assault cannon, destroyer 2 in that order and you will have massive push power wherever you want to go. 8/10 for me, would recommend! def going to pay them again.

Jasper Blake I'd never thought of them in terms of the Nekro Virus, but that does make sense now you say it. I do like Inheritance Systems as a faction tech. It has been a while since I last played them, but this guide has got me itching to try them again!

You are correct that inheritance sustenance allows you to skip unit requirements however by the time you get IS you might as well have just gotten the requisites for the tech you are after. This changes if you are playing a longer game (14 points) where you'll have a few more turns to use IS to skip to the good techs.
TheCaptainFalcon, This is completely correct, however as Ian M stated, there’s no reason to get inheritance systems to skip to what you need when it’s better to just get the abilities from techs on your way to what you need. Unless you’re going warsun. In that case, Godspeed to you.
