I don’t care if this opinion is unpopular, but Twilight Princess will always be my #1 Zelda game. It was my first Zelda game, the music was amazing, the story was beautiful, the gameplay was fun, it could have been a bit harder but still, #1
I honestly think Twilight Princess has the most "magical" atmosphere of all Zelda games. Something about that game just feels real. I think it's a combination of the great music, sound effects, and the dark colour scheme that creates this amazing mysterious mood. It's not the best game overall, but it's the best in that respect.
It was used in the GameCube version if you didn't press anything upon letting the intro play. It cuts to black then the demo trailer plays. Truly awesome. But they removed it on the Wii U HD version for some reason. It just loops the title clip.
@Wutert id put them on the same level. You can't dent that having people live out the last three days of their lives over and over again isnt depressing as fuck.
@@caleviwin Personally, I feel twilight princess is darker. It has more of the realism feel that majors mask lost. Like your action count. In MM you could set back time. But we all have our opinions.
@@meganghost7206 Haha I agree with you, Twilight Princess came out when I was 11 years and it was the most anticipated game for me, and it delivered beyond!
@@silvereken1 Honestly same here. I was too young to know about Ocarina and we didn't own a gamecube to get Windwaker. It was only in university that I finally got my hands on TP and I enjoyed it a lot.
At 49 seconds marker it sends so many chills through me whenever I started playing vote something triggered all my memories of twilight princess now I'm hooked
The beginning starts of sad and hopeless but then the tune begins to really show links strength to overcome the darkness and beat evil. This song will always be my favorite of any of the Zelda trailers. Nintendo bring this to the switch for fucks sake please I need to finish this game.
+GracieDross Having recently watched all Miyazaki movies. I can kind of see the guys at Nintendo are probably pretty big Miyazaki fans. I also think japanese composers doing orchestrated soundtracks always have rather typical sound to it.
Honestly, Twilight Princess had the best trailer of all the Zelda games. I remember playing the trailer they used this OST for back-to-back before, during, and after the game launched. 18 years layer and this OST still plays in my mind from time to time. This game was hauntingly beautiful.
I still remember the day this trailer came out. Man...I must have watched the trailer a thousand times waiting anxiously for this game to come out. Good times....
This was my first ever Zelda game, bought it having no idea what to play after the magnificence of Mario Galaxy, and with no idea what Zelda was about. It probably started my lifelong love of fantasy stuff. At the time it was the most epic and engrossing thing I’d played in my entire life. I spent hours just hanging around in Ordon, and my mind was blown when I finally got to Hyrule Field. Since then I’ve played most other Zelda games and can recognise others as objectively more groundbreaking for gaming, but Twilight Princess will always be the one that has a special place in my heart. Incredible game.
The Favorite Gentleman woah sounds good! my only problem is i play none of those instruments ^_^ lol. that and some of the ranges and parts are a bit unrealistic for those instruments (maybe possible but really hard)
invented boss fights, basically invented video game music culture, invented the iconic master sword, and made countless memories for millions of people.
I rememeber hearing this for the first time. It was started off gloomy and then it hit you with a bit of a sweet melody then when the tuba and cymbals come in... man... so epic ❤❤❤ (
This piece sounds like a darkness that is there, it's a menace, but you are living, doing your jobs, having fun, being you but, when you weren't waiting for it, the darkness finds you, and kidnaped you, something that you weren't waiting but you have to accept it, face it, use it, and you start to have more courage and you have friend now, and you and your friends are facing it, being heroic and powerful even more with time... at the end you are able to destroy it with strength and courage and you remain in peace. If it wasn't for that darkness you never will be as powerful as at the end. You were the chosen one.
Hopefully they go back to This Style & Direction with Zelda After the Breath of the Wild Games. Imagine a Open World with This Style Direction of Zelda... the way it was SUSPOSED TO BE !
It was beyond perfect, it had soul, it's faults and shortcomings were part of that. It's the only game I've ever bothered playing more than 1 full playthrough of, not counting Rune Factory A Fantasy Harvest Festival though, the DS was just so handy. But all the classic games, they're really just one and done. Ocarina of time, portal, call of duty, runescape, Professor Layton, all the mario games... There's really no games that compare to it. Resident Evil 4 on the Wii maybe, but even then it never had the depth and distance. So many games even in today's "open world" like Fallout New Vegas just don't have what Twilight Princess had. The story made back tracking through areas that changed as you progressed feel like you really changed and saved Hyrule from the ground up. If you've played it, you know the feeling, you can't replace being alongside someone else and growing to care for them, be worried about them, and love them. Midna made me love this game.
Does anyone know if there are names for the different sounds you can make with brass instruments? Like you can play the same note and it sounds rough and crunchy or you can make it butter smooth.
TP creator #1: "You know how Zelda as a franchise is well known for having amazing music?" TP creator #2: "Yeah." TP creator #1: "I've got a great idea. Let's put even better music in the trailer." **...years later...** BoTW creators: "Hold our beers."
