I agree absolutely fantastic game it deserved game of the year. But i did miss some of the old zelda elememts such as the bosses

I mean, bosses like these wouldn't really... work in breath of the wild? That game has a much deeper combat system than any other Zelda game, so trying to make a boss like this one where you have to use an item in a specific way would feel... kind of like a waste, like the blights can be fucking awesome if you know what you're doing and prepared properly, but there's not much to any "traditional" Zelda boss once you know the trick.

While I agree with you that bosses like this one look fantastic and epic - the large downside of many classic Zelda bosses can also be seen here: Oh look, a large shiny eye! Let's shoot it. Three times. Yay, the boss is dead!

I always thought something was off about that animation! It look cool up until that point...
