You're simply "terrific"! I'm new to sewing. My husband purchased this sewing machine for me during COVID. If it wasn't for you, I would have given up. Thank you for doing all these videos on the Singer Quantum 9960.
Hi Roxanne I just bought a twin needle, so I’m really happy you made this tutorial 😊. It’s a lot better watching you than reading the instruction manual 😊, thank you again 😊
I have this same sewing machine have had it about 6 yrs and i never thought id love a singer sewing machine beings ive been a Brother .. sewing machine user for many many yrs..but i really love this machine its such a good machine..ive had no problems with it at all!😊
You did it again! You should be the official ambassador for this machine. It’s because of you that this machine is one of Singer’s top sellers! Thank you Roxanne!
Roxanne, thank you so very much for your instructional videos! You explain and show every step so well. Because of your perfect instructions I've conquered my fear of learning new steps in my learning to sew. You are an amazing instructor!
Thank you, I have this machine, love the machine and I have looked at all your videos on this machine, which was great help learning what my machine can do thanks again ❤️❤️
Hi Roxanne! I love my Singer 9960, so much that I bought one for my daughter who is just learning how to sew. Thanks for the new video it was quite informative 👍🏼
Thank you Roxanne, for another great video!!! I am making lots of sheet sets, receiving blankets and burp cloths for my new grandson that is expected in July, and you just gave me a brilliant loving idea for a few cute touches to them... I'm so happy to have watched your new video!!! Great job, Roxanne, Thanks again!!!
Thank you! Good video! I have had my machine for almost 3 years. From the start I was not a fan. I thought I was getting a good deal, and it seemed like it came with everything I wanted. It's been decent, but the walking foot that comes with this machine is a joke. The walking foot has a bar that rests on the needle bar, which gets stuck trying to sew a few inches. And the bad thing is that this is the only walking foot to fit this machine :( I plan on replacing this machine with something more reliable, Heavy duty, and has a "lobster claw" walking foot. I have watched all of your videos regarding the 9960, thank you for being a great teacher!
Hi Tamatha. The only complaint I've heard about the walking foot is that it doesn't accommodate the quilting bar. I agree, that's not reasonable for a walking foot. Other walking feet are available for purchase and do work well on this machine. This machine isn't for everyone, though. I wish you good luck in finding another machine that you love. We must love the machine we create with or it's not fun. Glad you've found my videos helpful. Let me know which machine you settle on please?
I find this machine quite nice (from watching the reviews) why are so many people giving bad reviews about this machine? Is there anyone who has recently brought this machine like in 2020 or 2021? Did u face any issue?
Hi tane. The Singer 9960 is a very nice machine. Many people don't take the time to learn how to use this machine and then become frustrated. 99% of issues are user error. Others push the machine past it's limitations, don't take the time to maintain the machine properly and then blame the machine. Mine is over 9 years old and still going strong.
Hello!👋 First, I'd like to say I love the sound of your voice. 🥰 I was junk store shopping a while back and found this machine for $250. I couldn't believe my luck. It is missing a few feet, and the long arm, but already got those online. The one thing it was missing that I really need is the manual. So RU-vid to save the day. And here you are to help. 🥳 Thank you. The one question I do have, that I haven't been able to find out is. Is there a way to enlarge the letting? I probably know the answer, that there is not. But it would help if someone could give me defiant answer. Thanks for the wonderful videos.
Hello, i have just found these video's, there great. Do you ever have a problem with you presser foot falling off? If so, how do I fix that problem? Any information will be helpful. Otherwise in the 5 years I have had the machine, I haven't had any problems.
I just received the 9960 and I've spent several hours trying to figure out how to get numbers and letters in different sizes. Could you help with this? I've watched several videos but nothing I've seen has shown this yet. Thanks in advance
Hi Gary. The Singer 9960 is not an embroidery machine. It's a sewing machine with letter and number stitch options. They are preset into the machine and are not able to be edited.
I've sewn all kinds of different fabrications on my 9960 with no issues. You will need to keep in mind that you're always using the correct needles and thread for your particular fabrication. Your manual has a good reference chart for this.
Hi. Thanks for your excellent tutorial. Recently I bought The Quantum 9960 when I use the outline and some fonts doesn't look good. You can't understand the words. Any suggestions. Thanks.
Hi Olga. Here's the link to the Letter and Number Stitching video. It will walk you step my step through the process. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eswYmFwQJyY.html
Hi Roxanne. Can you please tell me what size twin needle you are using thank you. I know you mentioned the singer needle number. I just want to know what size it is.
