Trying to get the car into the 4 second range by the end of the year, but man its way harder than I thought. My suspension is going to need some serious upgrades this winter.
Do you have any anti-squat? I just feel the focus needs to be on the shock/spring combo front and rear. There is a ton of ET you're leaving on the table. Once car is working, then worry about power and PB's. The pb's will come with just suspension working. imo
@@Rev2lateRacing hell yeah. I’m trying to learn but it’s not going to well lol. Redline out of Bloomington did my initial tune. Now I gotta learn power management
It’s takes a lot of time and patience. I’m definitely still not what I’d consider a good tuner, but I just do the ole trial and error until I figure out what works. You’ll get there dude
@@Rev2lateRacing thanks. Fighting a breakup issue now. Started at 6800 now does it at 6000. Have changed all my ignition stuff out to new with no luck. Gonna check valve springs next
Yeah I have a set of slicks but I believe some of the classes I want to run only allow radials. (Not 100% on that) I also figured out my rear coil overs are running out of travel which is part of my issue along with my front coil overs being worn out bad. That’s on the list of things to do this winter. Actually here pretty soon
@@Rev2lateRacing Still, like I said, you'll get more good runs on slicks, then run the DRs when you have to and when you get it lined out. Yeah, looked like your fronts needed tightened up, extending too fast. Shocks wouldn't max out with slicks, either. Different setup than running DRs.
