We don’t see twin Turbo trucks often enough! This 1500hp Chevy Silverado was hard to stay away from as soon as we saw it on the dyno..with its sleeperish looks and amazing turbo sounds, ANYBODY could appreciate it! Did we mention its a record holder for the highest horsepower on a stock ECM? Not to shabby!

Power under the curve is huge also . Might peak out at 1500 but if its a dog getting there and takes for ever to get to that point well 1500hp is worthless compared to a engine that has a broad usable power curve.

If its flashed then its not a "stock" ECM (PCM in this case). If it isn't then hes asking for trouble since he'll be clear off all the fuel and spark maps under boost.

GTR drivetrain?!?!? Why? There's AWD versions of Silverados/Sierras/Escalades, and GM trans can be built to withstand more power than any GTR trans. Many pro mods run a Rossler 210; which is based off the TH400.

Truck definitely wasn't making 1500 when he was racing. I don't think he was spinning either. Truck sounds like it's not even working. I think it has a fuel or ignition problem. You can hear the engine RPM go all over the place. He totally got stomped by cars making about half of what he was claiming for power. I mean, a 380 cube LS with 30 lbs. from twin 72mm turbos is right in that ballpark in power figures, so take that for what it's worth.

For twin turbo makeing 1500 hp it's pretty slow I got a 88 fox with a 5.3 swap and a old school pro-charger makeing allot less and would've put up a better fight against either of his races but I probally don't know what I'm talking about.....not impressed at all

i understand it's a dyno queen and makes good power. i've watched almost every 1320 video there is and seems like 700-1000hp cars beat everything else that has "more powere" even supras with 1200+ can't beat cars with 800ish. people need to stop focusing on peak power and pay more attention to their overall power band and torque curve. i've seen 600hp c6z06's murder 900hp supras and evos all day long. point being there's a sweet spot with power. too little and you can't hang, too much and it's useless and there again.... can't hang. just take beater bomb for example. he won't give anything away about his setup or power but i know it's much less than what most of these dyno queens are running.

that's true. however, when ever i see people running 1400hp cars they never put the proper traction it needs. they just say "oh yeah i have 1400hp, build complete" which is why all these super high horsepower cars get walked by cars with a fraction of the power. which is why beater bomb is so damn fast. he matched the perfect amount of power to traction ratio and didn't worry about having the highest horsepower rating. so yes, you're correct but nobody cares about traction anymore, they just want a dyno queen, which is why they lose lol

I'm sure the PCM has been flashed, in which case its a meaningless record. GM PCMs are quite good for performance setups when calibrated properly and theres seldom any need to run anything aftermarket.
