Later in the video, Twinkie talks about how sad she was when she walked in the church because all the other times she came to the church, she was accompanying her mom. Dr. Clark was dead by this point and she said that all the love the audience showed gave her an uplifting in her spirit and took away the depression she had been in
This has got to be THE HARDEST thing to do. Song a song that was the anthem of not only your lifetime icon, but your mother and dearest friend, who's no longer at your side.. I applaud Twinkie and felt her through pain as she ministered this song.. RIP Dr. Clark.. Service IMMACULATELY done!

And Twinkie, DEEP depression to the point she didn’t want to sing, play, or even record! She only did Masterpiece, the album with FAMU, and lastly Live in Charlotte, which is one of her BEST ALBUMS, were because she owed 3 more albums to the record label!!! Her writing, arrangement of song, HER VOCALS (Range & Versatility) was impeccable and unmatched…Twinkie really IS the 🐐!!! The videos online of Dr. Mattie Moss Clark’s Funeral is the edited version! There is an unedited version they were selling years ago, I’m going back maybe 20 years or so, Jacky Clark, put out a cease and desist letter which was strictly legally enforced, and backed up by the courts. It was ALL taken down off RU-vid & Facebook, Social Cam, and all other Social Media Platforms where they were uploaded. I was fortunate to see the unedited version of Dr. Clark’s Funeral, and My God, them girls went through when they came in during the Family Processional. When Twinkie saw her Mother so Beautifully Laid Out, she just hit the floor. It was so sad. It was worst than the closing of the casket in my opinion. Both were very high emotional rollercoasters for them. Twinkie especially! She spent the Most Precious time with Dr. Clark traveling the Globe, and the length and breath of this country with her Mom constantly on the organ in rehearsal, and during church services. Teaching Music Workshops, Training Choirs, Writing and Playing, ALL with a STRONG & DEDICATED Life of Prayer, Fasting, & Consecration to the Ministry of Music, and to the God given calling on her life to retain the anointing!!! This is the anointing taking over the entire sanctuary. We need to get back to this style of worship. No time frame. No "setting the mood for the Spirit to come in". Just letting the Lord have His way with His people....

Thank you Lord for your love. There is no one like U Lord. Have u tried Jesus? Have u called on Him lately? He is waiting to hear from u. He loves u more than u can imagine. Go to Him, let Him hold u in His arms and comfort you. He is bigger than any problem you are facing and nothing is too hard for God to work out. Don't stay in the misery and pain, call HIM.
The words of this song touches the heart and soul and its a personal testimony for each and everyone of us. He is calling us all back to that place in Him where He can share His heart with us. I think Twinkie was/is at at that place, its not that she was sad, its just the very awesomeness of God. When u experience it you will know for sure. God bless u all.

Thats not true!!!!! Twinkie took her mother's death harder than the rest because Dr. Mattie was Twinkie's back bone when it came down to making music & songs.... she was face with having to do it all on her own....... as far as Twink Twink leaving the group, they got all the together and Dr. Mattie was never upset, mad or angry with Twinkie because she left, Dr. Clark always knew that the girls would get back together!!!!!

I don't think that Dr. Mattie Clark allowed Twinkie at her death bed, because Twinkie quit the Clark Sisters to start a family. That family got some stories....
w807260 that's so wrong in so many ways if you don't know anything about the situation DON'T speak on it. By the Dr. Clsrk understood Twinkie' s reason for leaving and they still had a great relationship she was still her accompanist who traveled with Dr. clark to play the organ and sing with her
