💚Using paracord - about 1 ft. of cord for every 1 inch of the collar, also depending one the thickness of your collar the circumference of your collar with be smaller. I had to add 1 inch to every 7 inches of the paracord part of the collar.( say you have a dog with a 15 inch neck, subtracted the adapter size, your total is 10 inches , now you add 1.5 inches = 11.5 and that is the number you measure with. ) For 20 inches need to add 2 3/4 inches. that will bring it to 22 3/4 inches. Then subtract the adapter inches. if your using a buckle then just subtract the size of the buckle. I use a 6 inch adapter, The rule of thumb is for every inch of you paracord part of you collar you need a foot of cord. For the cord that is in the center I would use an extra 1 1/2 feet. @@annjanettekremer7552
