Loading the Twisted Truck from a previous video so it can be delivered to salvage. www.paypal.me/RotatorRon If you like my videos, tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks for watching and God bless! www.midwesttruck.net/
I uploaded this as a private video a couple days ago, but didn't release it as a public video until today. This gives RU-vid time to authorize and process the video so that I don't have any copyright strikes and when I release the video it is processed into full HD at time of release. If I release the video as soon as I upload it, it will not be full HD for a while. This makes for a better viewing experience for everyone. Nobody missed out. It was only released to the public today, 1/18/2019. Thanks for watching and God bless.
@@RonPratt have you tried scheduling your videos? If you schedule them the video can be processed and go through all of RU-vid's metrics for ads, copyrights, etc. Plus you can just upload them and walk away. I upload mine up to a week in advance sometimes. Love the content and videos!
Ron your storage lot is as neat as your beautiful wreckers. Love that tire black on Wheels and decorations on truck. I got two great cars back in the 70’s from wrecks. A guy wrecked a new 1979 Buick LaSabre with only 20k miles and had no insurance. It was in storage for 3 years at 3 dollars a day. He signed the title over and I spent 2k to have the front drivers side fender and hood replaced and drove that car back and forth to college and then to first job. Traded it off in 1989.
@@mmrbeef I don't schedule per-say, but I do upload them as either private or unlisted videos several days or even a week ahead of my intended release date. I release new videos on Friday mornings CST. As you said, uploading them early allows RU-vid to do their thing. The only difference is that I go in and manually change the video from private/unlisted to public. This is the first time I've had an issue with notifications not being sent and the release date being shown incorrectly. I've e-mailed Creator Support to see what might have happened. Thanks and God bless.
That lowboy operator has some skills. He backed into a tight spot on his blindside. Nice to see he cared about how it was loaded and how far it hung over. True professional driver right there.
Every video I watch I think man there’s no way this should be good. Sure enough 20-30 you’re rigged up with a master plan and executing efficiently and safely. God bless man keep up the great work and awesome videos!
Mr Pratt I am always Impressed by these videos and the job you do because this is an industry that I no nothing about. I will have to say I was equally impressed with the low-boy driver. He took his trailer from a 90 degree start and parked it with in inches under the load in one shot. You have shown me time and time again there are true professionals in all fields of work and that you all should be commended.
Always happy to see another one of your videos, I drove truck for over 30 yrs. before I retired. For me I can always tell a true professional by the PRIDE in their equipment and work. God Loves a Clean Truck,
I watched this on 1/26/2019 and gave it a thumbs up as always. They can probably part it out almost what it would cost to buy a new cab. I pray the driver did not loose his/ her Job over this as there are no perfect people. It's a blessing no one was hurt is the main thing. Thanks for your time making these videos Ron..........
They towed me about twelve years ago. Did a really good job very reasonable i was in a bad spot. Im retired now. Love the videos. Brings back memories of being on the road. Thanks guys.
Thanks tor the quick reply. I love your videos. Have been watching them for over a year. At age 66 and just retired recently watching your channel has inspired me to be recovery and tow truck driver when I grow up :-). Thank you for your faith based channel. In Christ, Neil
Wonderful job in getting the twisted Tractor onto the Drop Deck on everyone's part. The Driver had a Guardian Angel watching over him on the day the Rig Jackknifed. God Bless You. Wonderful teamwork. 👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏.
Another good video. Ron, I bet you are glad you have your "friend" with you again. LOL, Talking about the remote. I agree, Still hard to believe that he walked away uninjured. Thank you Lord that he was protected.
I can relate to the driver in that wreck. I also was in a bad wreck in the mountains of Pennsylvania. The owner of the recover business came out to me when me and my brothers came to clean out the truck. His words I will never forget. I want to shake the hand that God touched. He flat out told me there was no way I should of made it out of that wreck and yet I came out with not one broken bone lots of black and blue marks. I rolled the my rig down a 50 foot embankment taking out 34 tress. I was pulling a tanker. I was hit from the side by a minivan.
It's pretty remarkable that you came out of it that well. Please make the most of life going forward from that point (although, I'm sure you have already begun doing so). I have seen a lot of bad crashes in my journeys along I-80, I-81, I-79, as well as other interstates and other highways. Many people are not as fortunate in the aftermath of some accidents. I doubt we can stop all accidents from happening, but we can learn from them, and adapt after them. While of course it's in everyone's best interests to drive responsibly, sometimes their are outside influences that affect the situation. It's great that you are still with us and able to share your experience. Did you go back to driving afterward ?
@@stanpatterson5033 Yes I did go back driving I drove for another thirteenth years. I do cherish each day. The biggest wake up call one of my brothers that came out to get me past away of a massive heart attack one year later. He sat down in.my mother's chair and gone just that quick. So I was left feeling and still do my me I am the one that should be gone and not him. There is not a day goes by that I do think the Lord. I still have pictures of the wreck. It took them three days to get the rig out of there they had to build a road to get back to it. The amazing thing about the wreck it never broke one seal on the load they were able to save 75percent of the load.
Scott Reasoner GOD DOES RIDE WITH US AND SOMETIMES I BELIEVE HE TAKES THE WHEEL. ..GOD BLESS YOU & NOT THAT I KNEW YOUR BROTHER, SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS...PRAYERS GO OUT TO ALL.
i just want to say that Ron is one amazing man to do what you do. GOD BLESS YOU AND ALL YOUR CREW FOR RISKING YOUR LIVES DOING SUCH A GREAT JOB !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I enjoy your videos, started watching last week when I had watched all my usual ones in the list that morning. I don't drive and have never had a license so I guess that is what you do is so interesting to me. Be safe out there and God Bless!
It's a miracle the driver walked away from that the good lord was looking out for him My god bless you and your team along with your family you doing an amazing job 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Remember everyone slow down and move over Thanks you
He’s really good about it! However with it being stowed away properly every time saves time in the long run. When it’s go time and you need the equipment right now for critical lifts, your not fighting to find what you need. It also helps with inventory of the truck. Do I have all of the equipment back on the proper truck for next time? Did I get everything back from a job site? All of the rigging on the trucks are rated for different loads and most of the stuff is high dollar. You really don’t want to lose any of it.
I did not realize how bad the frame was bent watching the recovery. It looks like it was hit broadside by another truck. The operator is so very lucky to have walked away. I live 10 miles South of the Covington,Ky. cut-in-the-hill on I-75 as it is known, it is just about a given that what ever gets wadded up there is a FedEx or a Swift. The talent level on the road today is appalling. I'm glad to be retired after 39 years. You do great work.
Hey Ron! Every time I see you go in the boxes for gear I think, he either needs a longer truck or a support truck for the rotator! You sure keep it clean on the outside!
The Rotator is always in pristine condition - even the tyres were shined. Makes a difference I feel when you turn up on a job. I'm sure it doesn't go un-noticed with the emergency services. You should name it the White Knight - with shining armour (chrome arches) Takes effort to maintain that vehicle in super condition.
Love your Christmas truck. I remember this accident well from your previous video. Can't believe the driver walked away from it either. Enjoyed the video of this truck's next journey.
Thank god the driver escaped without injuries, it's absolutely amazing. I've never seen a wreck this serious before where the frame was that contorted. Which is a shame because the truck didn't seem to be that old, judging it was a newer Freightliner. But the nonetheless it's only a truck and is always replaceable, and the driver is ok & there were no others involved which is all that matters. Thanks for sharing as always Ron and look forward to your future content.
Clean one owner rig. Needs some minor body work, but nothing some elbow grease wouldn’t fix.. Another great Ron Pratt video, and awesome job driver blind siding in..
Sure glad the driver survived this. That was awesome the truck driver drove right under the tractor only one and did not have to pull out and start over. Great job as always. God bless
Hey, Ron!! I see the bread truck was in your way again.. lol That old thing has been there forever. Maybe time to get rid of it. Great sheet metal for repairs, I suppose. Great lift, and see that the poor truck still doesn't look good in the daylight either. lol Great lift, and great driving to get that truck underneath of it off the blind side. Most truckers would have taken time to set up and back up the other way. That poor old thing hasn't got too many parts left to salvage, but someone will find something that still works. Alternator still looks usable. lol God bless everyone and can't wait until the next video. 😁🤗📸💕🐸
Michelle madson from happy valley in Oregon and i watch you and i .love what you do and yes i prayers for the family and friends and im gald you have your family watching your back on the jobs
Notice ur truck is always clean and shines even ur tires. I work for pest control firm and keep my truck the same way. A clean truck is a reflection on the driver and gives a good customer experience
Ron it*s impressive to see how you can pick up the wrecks, being all twisted like this one, where I thought that when you went to lift it up, I thought thecchasis was going to break in half due to the severity of the crash, also.have they ever called you, to unload the wreck like this one from the transport to the lot where ever it goes, since you are the pro.
@Ron Pratt You are a true master with that big truck and crane and I really enjoy watching you work. Please feel free to mute that high pitched beeping sound that indicates the boom is being rotated any time it suits your fancy. Thank you for great videos.
It is a surprise the driver did not receive a scratch from this wreck. Very very lucky. Is his "nickname CAT?" Must be . Have a safe day and watch your "6" out there.
My late father a Navy Pharmacist Mate missed Pearl Harbor by 3 weeks and was later assigned to the 2nd MarDiv for the Saipan invasion. He survived the initial nighttime attacks, and indeed the action. Later serving at Camp Susupe, the internment center for Japanese POW's, Pacific rim refugees, and the native Marianas peoples, while suitable shelter was being rebuilt. The POW's where awestruck by the size and noise of the B-29 and realized the end for Japan was near. Thank you. Narragansett Bay
Thats one big yard you got there, at least you dont have to mow it haha. I am a trumpet player in my high school marching band and I half to say that is the coolest intro song ever. Keep up the great work.
Feel free to record some tune (with some other instrument players) for him and submit it for use if you feel you got something many would like to listen to.
Ron you got the best tow show out there I been arguing with other tow shows about you. Ron no matter at all your show is the only show I watch so remember everybody out there slow down and move over. Good luck and god bless.
Thank you very much for the compliment. There is no need to argue with other channels. I don't see it as a competition. I do my own thing and I don't concern myself with what other people or channels do. Again, I do me. I don't criticize other channels. That's just not my way. Thanks for watching and God bless.
@@RonPratt thank u for getting back to me. Now that I read your post your right have a good day and god bless you. Be extra careful out there and all your workers
Ron just watched one show were you sold all your cars. I don't no if I could have done that. When I seen the cars you had I was speechless. As always from Jason Wolfe good luck god bless.
Great video Sir...I won't tell the Ins. Co. you scratched the paint on the cab...lol..see the bread van still hasn't been choped up..if I had the place to store it.. I'd talk to the city about buying it..been looking for one at a good price.
your truck begins to look like by boat .. you always find another must have equipment that youll have to find a place for 😁 And the one you don't bring is the one you need...
Ron - that darn Eagle Snacks van is still kicking it around! It's been a long while now. How come it hadn't gone to the great scrap metal boneyard in the sky by now???
wow. a truck driver that can back up. puts it in the right spot on the first try. that guy should have his own youtube channel. just watched a video of a tractor-trailer trying to do a U-turn on a 2 lane road because he couldn't fit under a bridge. all he had to do was back straight up, but he jacked it, tore the tractor up and took out a street sign. backed up and did it again. there was more metal and fiberglass on the road then there would have been if he hit the bridge.
