Not always. I have anxiety so asking for things out right scares me. Even though when they do offer I always so no because it feels awkward and I think they want something in return

Dunno if she appreciated that (I think not) because to me it is apparent that she is a typical woman/person. Well to be honest.... I think that‘s his part of always going after exactly THAT kind of girl that only uses them. He always goes after the drop dead gorgeous and already kinda famous/popular ones so these girls are already used to getting attention from guys and that they can do and get whatever they want. I feel for you, this is pretty common unfortunately and causes a lot of unnecessary stress. Personally I couldn't accept such generosity from another person without forming a stronger bond. If they wanted to date me and I was single, yeah I'd give it a chance because it's very clear they care about me.
My thing is, its not like im expecting anything out of it. But it should be just common courtesy to not just accept the goddamn date without at least being aware of it and respecting the person. From the start she didn't care because ain't noone going to be talking about other guys/girls on a date like that and the fact that only at the end she denied him instead of even trying to offer. Like a full trip to disney/ with hotel accommodations and going out to eat should make it very clear that someone is into you. Noone spends thousands of dollars on a random person without at least having interest in them in a male and female relationship.
