One thing that many people don’t know about Franky is that originally Endo(Author) had planned to make him Anya’s biological uncle. If Endo had followed through with his original plans, the relationship between Anya and Franky might have been different. Franky already acts as a relaxed, eccentric uncle of sorts to Anya; had there been an actual biological bond, maybe the audience would be able to witness a better relationship develop between the two.
It's so nice that Anya found someone at school to be her bestie, and Becky deserves that too. Becky needed a friend like Anya to see through the BS, and Anya needed a guild in the crazy place of Eden. That's why they are besties. Damien won't stand a chance of Becky's determination for Anya to have the best. Lol The dynamic between Anya and Becky is among my favourite in the series, they honestly feel like kindred spirits.
I've had that feeling for the two of them since their first encounter. As soon as Becky first said hello to Anya, I knew these two would be besties. And as the series went on, they've become sisters for life.
The way Loid flew back after being hit and then immediately stood up and straightened his jacket to the ooohhhs and claps of the other patrons was so hilarious! Him telling Yor a little about his mother was so telling considering he’s probably never opened up to anyone before. Martha is the MVP of this episode…..butler, chauffeur, package carrier and friend to Becky, that smile she got when she heard Anya and Becky talking showed how much she truly loved her!
One thing I found quite amusing is that everytime Loid tries to play the spy with Anya and Yor things tend to go wrong, but when he opens up even if just a bit and just goes with the flow things work out, even if in a way he wasn't expecting.
I think it's because as a spy, every variable has to work to his advantage in order to attain success. But when Loid tries to apply that mindset to the chaotic lifestyle he's adopted with Yor and Anya, control over many of those variables just becomes unfeasible. Even when he tries to manipulate it, he either ends up doing more damage (such as forcing Anya to study when she really has no stomach for it) or takes an L for himself (such as that kick from Yor after trying to take advantage of her feelings as she's emotionally vulnerable). I feel like the sooner he accepts the fact that some things being out of his control isn't necessarily bad, the smoother the operation will go.
I love how you two are so invested in TwiYor! I love them so much as well 🤣 I agree with him tho, Loid deserve that kick! Using her affections is a no no Loid but I totally love how he told Yor about his past. It's a big thing for a spy. Congrats guys on 100k!!
Props to Loid for taking that kick like a champ! Yor has been said to hold nothing back when drunk, so that kick was full power. Loid isn't the west's strongest spy for nothing. It's just that Yor is the world's strongest human.
@@Anino_Makatathat was definitely full power I am pretty sure loid is the only one who can handle ehr kicks and being honest if loid had his guard up he would probably would have avoided the attack
9:06 I'm pretty sure Loid had to explain everything to Yor agian the next day. I watched this episode a few days back and I can recall the subtitles saying that Loid had to explain to Yor everything that happened the previous night so I'm pretty sure that Loid opened up a bit and Yor wouldn't feel ussless anymore and feel more accepted. Plus congrats on 100k subs this is a big milestone for you guys 🥳
From what I have read, the progress is as slow burn as it can get. There are many sprinkled in moments that build every relationship between the main cast as well as the side characters. It may not be crammed into big moments or obvious change in their relationship, but it does show a level of intimacy shared between characters. For example, Yor placing milk in the table as an option for Loid to put in his coffee. Or Anya's comfort to speak her mind with her parents. Even the scenes we get in the opening and endings where they are sharing moments as a family, cooking and setting up the table to eat together. All things you do with your loved ones that show closeness. Things we all take for granted until everyone is busy and getting to share a meal together is rare.
That’s what i thought too but it might actually be true that she didn’t get to hear the part about the lullaby again. But my head canon is that Loid actually Mae sure to tell her everything.
It wasn’t all for nothing!! You missed the text saying both Loid and Yor had the same conversation all over again. Also the text where Anya says maybe her parents were shacking lmaooo Anywho, Twilight opening up his true self to Yor is a major step towards a genuine relationship between these two. Twilight is starting to learn that he can’t fake and take advantage of Yor’s feelings as Twilight; being genuine with her brings them closer ❤
4:35 “She’s gonna need to go to the hospital soon.” Well… it wasn’t her that needed to go to the hospital, but someone else who got attacked by the Chin-Devil (like how the Nut-Devil attacked Aki) ^_^
22:00 Consistently while watching this channel, I've noticed both of your intelligence and creativity and knack for good storytelling. I'm actually very interested in seeing how a story written by you two would be, or at least the ideas used for storyboarding.
They had the same conversation due to Yor not remembering anything that night. My comment in the latest episodes were proven here. Yor is indeed falling for Twilight the only thing hindering more progression now is that Twilight has never fell in love with anyone yet and he only used women who did fell in love with him as tools for his missions. I think Twilight needs more work than Yor in terms of romance capabilities.
Hi, first of all i'd like to say love the reaction and energy from the both of you. There is an anime i would love to see your reaction. Have heard of an anime called 86? its a anime with the main theme of war and racism i think. Although its in a semi mecha genre, but its not focus on big mecha fight like the gundam series. Its more focus on its story, insane character development and world building. There is a lot of foreshadowing and symbolism in this anime, not to mention the fantastic music. There are small fight here and there but it was short and straight to the point type and when there's a big fight, its a big epic fight. Its a roller coaster of emotion. It might be start alittle bit slow on the first 2 episode for the build up, but it pick up later in the season. Happy to see you react to it.💝
Wait a minute. How did you miss the subtitle that said that they had a repeat of the conversation they had while she was drunk? You were both looking at the screen at the time. Eh regardless. I knew this episode was going to make you both hilariously angry and then sweetly happy again. I was practically waiting for this.
Finally! Since you guys are big TwiYor shipper I've been waiting for this episode reaction! As expected it's not dissappointing and I enjoy the reaction a lot! Thanks for sharing the joy and congrats for 100k sub!
17:29 I don't think anyone will see this, but I still want to comment it... after reading the latest chapter of the manga, it makes me love Martha and Becky's relationships even more. If anyone reading this and haven't seen the manga yet, please give it a try, the idea of anti-war and the terrible effect of a war is expressed really well, I feel sad that our real world is still suffering through it...
As for what happened to his parents....chapter 62- ch. 62.5 of the manga tells that story. Its not a happy one. You guys should try the msnga. Were only on 94 chspters and season 2 ended at chspter 59
You guys have the best reaction channel. Charlie actually reacts to stuff like she's enjoying it unlike other channels. CAN YOU GUYS PLEASE REACT TO BOCCHI THE ROCK
I can't believe you guys let the video play while you were discussing the previous scene and missed Anya's "shacking up somewhere" comment. Use the pause button, guys!
"It was all for nothing..." No, esp it says in the very next sentence that they had the conversation again. Thus, the relationship was able to move forward, even though maybe Loid didn't mention the stuff about his mother again, but it was hardly a waste.
Guys you misunderstood the story of the show. Loid tells her all the things that happened. And she remembered them. Loid plotted all of it in order to not do it in front of anya. And spoiler alert after yor remembered what happened she liked it
Foe Loids's past we have the flash back in the fist episode with him crying in the middle of what looks like a bombed out street as a child now this. Putting these two together don't lead one to believe he had a happy childhood. Or at least not one for long.
I guess you missed it but the narrator said that Loid did explain Yor everything that happened that night, so even if she don't remember she is aware of it
So Lod we know is an orphan as in the first episode he had a flashback to when he was crying alone in a bombed town. Since he explained that he can’t remember his mothers face it happened when he was very young. This is what drives Loid, to create a world where children won’t cry like he did when he lost everything.
You likely caught it in the edit, but Loid and Yor have the same conversation the day after, we just don't see it rehashed! So there is at least a little bit of progress in their relationship lol
Hey…while waiting for the next season…maybe a video just for your thoughts about season 1 as a whole? Maybe a tier list of your favorite episodes? 🤷♀️😇
The problem with Yor is that she’s always doubting herself no matter what Loid says. How many times did he tell her she’s a great wife and mother? Even in front of Fiona in their apartment he said the same thing. He always complements her and lifts her spirits. It’s not his fault she has a self-esteem problem. He’s trying his best over and over yet Yor keeps finding things to feel inferior about. He even told her he wants nothing more than for her to be herself and be happy. I feel bad for Loid the most in this situation. He’s stuck trying to please everyone while both women fail to see his own struggles. Even before the match between her and Fiona started he literally told her he won thanks to her. He already validated her before her match with Fiona. He already sees her as amazing regardless of the result of this match. She got the better complement before that match which is so great of Loid. She didn’t even need to win the stupid thing with Fiona, yet she’s so caught up in her own self sabotage nothing is enough. I am talking from experience here. The way she’s feeling is all on her now. Loid did everything he could and more. It’s not fair to expect so much from him all the time. She expect that without even communicating what’s bothering her. This man is working 24/7 and she knows that. He’s there for her yet it’s still not enough. She needs to communicate. She needs to rationalize her inner feelings. Only her can do that. It bothers me that everyone is blaming Loid when he’s doing everything he can for her. He can barely stand on his feet yet everyone around him just keeps wanting more from him. He’s only human.
That exaggerates things quite a bit, who in the show is blaming Loid like that except the gossiping neighbors? Yor certainly isn't thinking its his fault, she knows her issues are her own.
@Ryodraco From the reactions I have seen...many reactors are blaming Loid for Yor's insecurities. Which, I'm assuming, why this commentor was making a point on. That everyone is saying Loid needs to do more for Yor. While the things Loid does, such as compliments and gestures like buying their favorite cake, aren't doing enough. Loid is playing a persona. Well, he feels like he's playing a persona. On top of that, he needs to switch from being Loid to being Twilight. Which we see time-and-time again, that it exhausts him. He's immensely drained. Yor isn't receiving the gestures as support and thinks he's only being kind to her. Her insecurities are internal and blaming Loid for her intrusive thoughts is like trying to empty out a rapidly sinking boat.
@@floatytrouty If not even season 4 depending how they stretch it and the fact that the manga seems to take a break for several week's every one or two chapters (same as Frieren, this one deserves an anime too).
okay, as you're SO big fans of the series, I'm going to give you a hint to keep the joy and happiness of the wholesome moments flowing after the season is done. Buddy Daddies. It's is nothing but Joy and happiness condensed into anime form and it has a title character who is just as - if not more because that giggle of Miri's makes me smile from ear to ear - much of a happy little girl as Anya is.
Why don't people understand Loid is not here to play family or to make genuine bond with his fake daughter and fake wife, So I will be happy if he stays a genuine spy not an emotional fool He is on a mission.
