You definitely need to get the Twizy power box as your Twizy was built before July 2016. You'll increase the torque by 80%, remove the speed limiter and much much more including more regen braking. Then you will have real fun
Twizy MT The monster truck edition ;-) OK, but it was a fun idea to lean the tires at it ;-) ------ But wow, what a good sets of tires can do! It was like day and night on the snow - in the video, wow! And that's why good winter tires are important on regular cars too on a snowy surface.
I love that you guys truly seem to have FUN at Out of Spec! First time ever for "it's like a 911" from someone driving a Twizzy, lol. Just a guess, headed to Georgetown for some ice lake driving?
Keep in mind this chassis has been engineered by Renault Sport, when you know what the Megane and Clio RS are capable of, you understand why the Twizy is so fun to drive. (twizy owner here) :)
6:09 - Max grib level on snow for breaking is locked up. Anti-lock or limit-breaking takes a longer distance. Assuming you're breaking in a straight line and don't need to maneuver around anything, you want snow to pile up in front of the tires for max breaking. Maybe a fun video idea/test for you!
Some RU-vidr needs to fully max out a Twizy with a bigger battery, more powerful motor and bigger tires. A roll cage would probably be a good idea too...
I have a general question concerning what EVs you would consider for someone 6'6" and 260 lbs? The person is a friends son-in-law and lives in the Denver area. I don't believe they want to pay the price much more than 60k. He would also like to be able to see and drive the car in person. With all of the EVs that you have had a chance to drive as well as knowing how the winters in Colorado can be, I figure you would be a great source to provide some options.
The Ioniq 5 would be good! Tons of room, my friends who are 6 foot 2 haven’t had any issues, it’s also great in the cold and $58k for top sped Limited AWD!
the Twizy always impressed me, I Really dont understand how they could make a battery pack with such bad batteries. they are llitteraly 60w/Kg for comparrison the Model3 (and every Battery bank, Cellphone, laptop battery etc) are around 160w/kg
