Two Completely Different Brand New VW Campervans Compared!

In this video, Steve compares two completely different campervan layouts that we offer here at Jerba campervans.
The first is a Volkswagen T6 camper with our Sanna layout. Our sanna is a rear elevation pop top roof, kitchen in the rear with single RIB beds and a toilet campervan.
The second is our jerba Tiree camper. This is a kitchen in the front, double RIB bed campervan without a toilet.

A gamechanger for a single traveller would be to start with a van with driver side sliding door and make the passenger seat a folding bed seat for use as bed and lounge sofa, opening up rear for kitchen storage toilet and dining area with back open or closed, when travelling by yourself can leave the bed out and use the whole van, no need for upstairs bed, or upstairs bed in case additional traveller. With passenger sliding door passenger seat bed blocks door. Also you should consider using space under tailgate for hot shower area..... with curtain and tray, build in tailgate.....

Love the two of them , both have + and - points , but at my age think I'd rather the sauna with the on board toilet 🤣

Good to see a different layout from the mass design that’s rolled out. The two folding beds just don’t do it for me, look uncomfortable at best

I note that the chairs are not stored in the rear door. Where are they kept please?

For a solo camper would it be possible to forgoe the twin seats, move the fridge over to where the passenger seat is by the sliding door, so that you could then have a long sofa/single bed on the drivers side with storage underneath. Or alternatively have a drawer fridge underneath the sofa bed. Are these kind of modifications possible or are customers restricted to your standard layouts?

Hey, due to our safety testing and long order book we must stick to our layout plans that we offer. So yes, customers are restricted to our standard layout. We do offer the option to change appliances, furniture colours, VW van specs when ordering from new, seat trims etc and can make subtle small modifications. But we cannot change positions of seats, move fridges or build new long sofa beds. Hope this helps. Kind regards.

Curious to know where you positioned the exhaust for the Wallas in the first van? I was looking at having a Wallas in my van with the same layout but didn’t think I could do it without the exhaust for the hob being below the sliding door which I didn’t think would be a good place for fumes to be coming out if the door was open. I would love to know where you fitted it. Thanks
