Tristan's deck having Ritual Spells but not the Ritual Monster sounds like it came from one of the video games where the ritual spells actually turn the tributed monsters into the ritual monster from outside of your deck so you don't have to worry about drawing it. 🤔
i think Duelist of the roses might of been where the deck came from? i don't think they ever had Ritual Monsters traditionally but the spell cards were there
@@graytothemax1310 in a old school yugioh duel rhyme and doto did a few weeks back, doto threw the 5 pieces of exodia in, got both legs, and the head, and then had his sangan attacked to see that he could search for 2 left arms and no right arm, meaning he could not win with exodia since he screwed it up putting 2 of the same arm in the deck
the 2 turn card did not activate because Doto's turn was not done. It only would work if you would have survived the turn and then at the end phase, he would have been destroyed
No wonder Bakura just straight up murder Pegasus instead of dueling him first Dude carries a deck just to not look *sus* in front of yugi and then gut him like a fish
Burkia being the only character that doenst care about card games, marik told him about the gods cards and he said I don't care about card's I want the melinum items.
Well to be fair as he showed with Pegasus' guards and others who crossed him even with one item, The Ring, he could bring chain energy to life to restrain foes, bury them in darkness with Encroaching Darkness and if I rememer right in the Japanese version he dissolved two fools in Acid Trap Hole taking great pleasure in it. Zorc is not somebody to play for the smaller prizes. He lost to Yugi and used Bakura's adorableness to get close to Pegasus showing he was always playing 4D Khet.
The ones where he has Ritual Cards is either from Sacred Cards or Reshef of Destruction, it basically makes it so that two monsters that fulfill the criteria of the ritual spell card will transform into the Ritual Monster, even if said Ritual Monster does not exist in your deck, it basically creates the card from thin air, which was actually cool
So for those wondering, Tristan's deck here is made from multiple different sources. Cyber Commander, Launcher Spider, Sengenjin, Super Roboyarou, Block Attack, Double Snare, Garma Sword Oath and the A-Forces are all from his only duel against Nezbit in Season 3 (virtual world arc), we see the Ritual Spell in his hand but he never actually uses it. The Polymerization, Roboyarou and Robolady weren't used but are needed to summon Super Roboyarou (who was his deck master during the duel so he just cheated him out), realistically by that logic Rhyme could have added Garma Sword and no one would have minded. Swamp and Lava Battleguard are both used in the Millennium World Arc where he brings them out to fight Zorc and in the manga he uses Gagagigo instead. Thunder Kid, Shovel Crusher and Thunder Dragon are the monsters he summoned in Capsule Monsters. Zone Eater, Sinister Serpent, Steel Scorpion, Unhappy Maiden and Ooguchi are all cards he used in Dark Duel Stories (yes he ran three of all of them). Goblin Attack Force, Horn of the Unicorn, United We Stand, Black Pendant, Sword of the Deep-Seated and Mage Power are from World Championship 2004. And finally, Enchanted Javelin, Negate Attack and Megamorph are from The Dawn of Destiny.
Steel Scorpion says “at the End Phase of your opponent’s 2nd turn after the attack” so you can’t count the current turn in which it was attacked. The game’s timer thing was misleading. You basically add 4 total turns to the turn counter and it’s during the EP of that turn when the opponent’s monster is destroyed. That would’ve been the EP of Turn 16 in the first duel and Turn 24 in the second duel. The duels got to those turns but not the EP.
Thats probably Tristan's deck from the gba game i thinks its called Sacred Cards. He had a lot of low attack monsters in that and rituals just summoned the monster using specific monsters as tribute
Well to be fair he wasn't at Duelist Kingdom to compete and he only played "Drooling Monsters" casually. XD Also by Duelist Kingdom rules cards are blank if they only have a description so we don't know what they do until they are on the field.
"At the end phase of your opponent's 2nd turn after the attack" doesn't count the turn OF the attack so it's really 3 turns after if you're counting the MP2/EP of the turn Steel Scorpion was attacked because that's the turn it gets attacked, not the turn after it was attacked.
Tristan only had one duel in the anime, and his cards were Cyber Commander, Commander Angel, the Raboyarou/Robolady and their fusions, Lava Battleguard and Swamp Battleguard. Frankly... that's not much to look at.
The cards didn't get destroyed by scorp because it gets destroyed at the end of the opponent's second turn after the effect get placed on them, so that initial turn where scorp is destroyed doesn't count as one of the two turns.
I assume the reason why steel scorpion didn't get rid of doto's monsters is because it only does so at the end of his turn and every time this effect was gonna go off the duel had ended already. I'm kinda dumb though so idfk
So, how do you feel that they released BLS as a normal monster? Me personally would have hoped for another monster to be the second 3k atk lv 8 normal beat stick to rival blue-eyes, particularly hoped for original one, but it made sense that it would be a legacy/yugi card.
Damn for these one is hard to find a accurate one. But the closest to a real deck for Tristan would be the ones he has in Tag Force. It uses the Battleguards and the Robo archetype (the ones he used in the Virtual World)
Come on doto didn't even try to make an announcer voice. DB and pokemon would fire him so fast! Make him redoing it every episode until he's good at it! :P
So if we go by the games outside of Tag Force and Duel Links Tristian's deck is just junk but there's a reason for this: Tristian is usually the lowest ranked of Yugi's friends being more about actually protecting their bodies with his actual gains rather than using shadow magic or even being a good player. Also Tristian at the start of the series is like "You're playing drooling monsters?" Showing us he isn't really more than casually interested in competing and making theme decks around War and Cyber themes. He also can't be faulted for his choice of monsters because he's poor. XD Like he bought the best he could with his budget but remember effects on cards make them expensive hence why he's running a budget version of Joey's favorite strategy and if he had played in the Duelist Kingdom then technically he might have gotten some BS effects or field power bonuses. We'll never know though as he came along like Tea for moral support.
My powers out due the shit storms its been a rough day with my wife n kid weirdly something like this is what I needed on this shit father's day my 1st one
I've always been meaning to ask if it was possible to not include the names of the characters you guys are using in your title, only because seeing the shock value of who you guys get would be that much funnier, but at the same time, that would probably make the video titles a little more difficult to come up with.
