To answer your question: yes, the flood do eventually stop spawning in the library, usually after 3 waves (I play the library in a kill everything that moves before I enter the next room kind of way, this is how I found out). The only two exceptions to this rule are at the entrance to each elevator and past the final door leading to the index. It also sort of applies to one specific underground hallway that leads to a battle room. If you don't kill everything in the battle room, an infinite amount of carrier forms will spawn in the underground hallway. They're only placed there to prevent you from retreating during combat. After combat ends, they stop spawning.

Are they using the boom skull? If so yeah makes sense why they're dying a lot and the iron skull just adds insult to injury thank god this isn't LASO or else ugh there would have been way more deaths or maybe that is LASO it kinda feels like it
