In my last adventure I spent two days searching a river for large gold deposits. By the end of day two I had very little to show for my efforts, late in the day my mate Ron showed up and on day three we set off down the river on our pack rafts testing for new deposits. The whole day was an incredible experience and not to long into our morning we strike gold a nice alluvial deposit with some chunkier pieces. With the trip a success it's a good reminder of the value of friendships and once again that immersion in nature that keeps a soul alive.
