This video features two separate mini chases of BNSF's Conway Turn. The Conway Turn operates out of BNSF's Delta Yard in Everett, WA Monday through Friday. It serves industries on the Arlington Branch as well as a single industry in Marysville.
The first mini chase of the Conway Turn features clips of the train on the Arlington Branch. We see it first passing through Edgecomb northward, about halfway up the Arlington Branch. Then, we catch the train entering the Arlington "Yard" where the crew runs the power around the freight in order to head back south. This train that day featured BNSF 3026 on point for the run north. 3026 still wears the Burlington Northern "Whiteface" paint scheme.
The second mini chase shows the Conway Turn on it's trek back southward to Delta. We first catch the train passing through North Marysville having completed all it's work on the Arlington Branch. Once on the main, we catch the train a few more times as it passes through Marysville, Bridge 37 into Everett, and then entering BNSF's Delta Yard. The train that day had BNSF 181 on point. BNSF 181 is a GP60 that still wears it's Santa Fe colors.
I hope to fully document this local someday. It's definitely a fun and reliable catch for those in the area and visiting. Thanks for Watching!
