You need to be congratulated as you're the only lawn mower man I have ever seen that owns a broom and can actually bend his knees to pick up waste. Well done mate!
@@jovittheinnocent4223 @Brandy Strickland G'day to the Pennsylvanians! A special tidbit for you: That spider down the bottom left of the screen at 14:16 is a Redback Spider. A bite from that little bugger will make you very crook. So every time you see Mr Lawn Mower Guy stick his fingers under log or a pile of leaves, give a little *gasp* with the rest of us! :)
I love how you go over the yard first with a weed eater especially in unknown areas with super tall grass so you don’t ruin your equipment with boulders or concrete boxes
Right? I was thinking the same thing... I made the mistake of letting somebody borrow my brand new professional grade rider (only 11 hours), push mower (maybe 5 hours, because my property is an acre so I don't use it as much as the rider), and weed eater. When I got them back, the blade on my push mower was bent (thankfully it came with a second blade that I wanted to put on anyways, because it's the one that is preferred for using the bag), the belt for the deck leveler was detached, and my weed eater was so wrapped with long grass, I literally had to take cutters to get all the grass off (it literally took me 45 minutes to clean it...😤). Learned the hard way not to be so nice. Never again have I lent anything out... No way!!! If you don't know what you're doing, you can seriously screw yard tools up. Well, anything for that matter...
My grandpa taught me to appreciate a tidy lawn from an early age. The trimming and edging are my favorite parts ♥️ I enjoy watching your videos since I haven't take the plunge into homeownership just yet.
Mate I'm a new contractor just starting out. Can't thank blokes like you enough for putting out these videos. The number of times you must have to move your camera!
I like your channel. Even though I have watched many lawn care channels, most just cut, edge and prune in high speed. Yours include explanations of why you do what you do.I like that. I am one of those who wondered why some cut grass so short they look brown. I even think they destroyed the lawn. Please, keep putting explanations in your videos. Thank. And hi from 🇨🇦!
I have alot of lawns back in the day and yes they will be brown when you give a 1st cut after months of no maintenance....these people who say you cut to short...never them. Your doing it right..thank for all your hard work 💪👷
You are doing amazing work and proving over and over that you can have a small company and get the job done without having to buy all the high end equipment. Stay focused and as well thanks for helping those struggling like you do when your time allows. We all need a hand from time to time. Best wishes. Kirt
Every time I watch one of your videos I think how surprised and happy the neighbors are going to be when they come home from work today. . . . I know, weird.
My knickers didn't get in a twist simply because I wouldn't know what I was talking about anyway🤣 here in the UK. I like your ethics and that your a community kind of guy. That's why subscribed🤗
As a fellow grounds maintenance guy in the UK using similar equipment I can only admire your professionalism and attention to detail. You deserve every success and no wonder you have girls from a small town in Pennsylvania as groupies!😆
Due to the overgrown grass, roots grow vigorously and start pushing the dirt out onto the concrete sometimes or due to being so over grown, all the bottom looks brown due to the top covering it with shade, that’s the reason for looking so brown. It’s kinda dead due to no light but it comes back within time. Again, only if you keep consistent with it meaning trimming and watering. Of course you’ll still run into some problems sometimes but that’s a whole different story. Same thing with bushes or trees. If you let it over grow and trim it down to a smaller preferable bush/ tree size, it’s going to look ugly due to poor maintenance. If you keep consistent with maintenance, the bush or tree will keep trying to grow more and it’ll look a lot fuller. They constantly keep growing so it’s like stopping it from going farther out and stay in place. so you’ll end up with a ugly lawn when you finally trim it and you’ll have to wait for it to grow out nicely.
I often cut shorter and it does look brown for a day or two and then recovers extremely well, but the first cut after winter gets a very short cut to get rid of all the dead grass, and it's surprising how well that works. Well done, both yards look great after your work
How small is this world? I’m stuck inside as we are having a spring snow storm here in Newfoundland Canada and watching this awesome guy cut grass in Australia.
Hi Louise, my sweet late grams was from St.Johns, Newfoundland !! I've always Wanted to take a trip there to see her homeland. How I miss her so....❤❤❤
Mate, it is those little things you do that seperate a mowing guy and the professional. The gutters, the picking of weeds between cracks and going over it again are all master strokes. AWESOME work. Keep on mowing. Cheers, Bluey 👍
I'm new to the channel, Sean. Fun watching the transformations. Looks like you're getting your 10,000 steps in every day! Thanks for making these videos.
Several things I love about your videos, 1 is your accent (I’m from Texas) 2 the magnificent job you do and 3 seeing the different types of fences from what I’m used to. Keep up the good work!
on no those large rock retaining walls like the one at 11:05 are the bane of my existence. getting yards looking neat when those things are a mess is just near impossible. luckily that one has been looked after.
This is what I like to see, a bloke not afraid to do the hard yard's with a push mower. I'd hire you any day with above award. Wish there were more honest, reliable and not afraid of hard work blokes out there.
@@BladeMateLawnCare may I ask the make and model of the whipper snipper you were using. I'm from NSW, I have a really overgrown property and my whipper snipper just doesn't get the job done, especially for thicker weeds. Cheers, and great job.
long grass in the rain is just the worst haha. Check out this one I did a while back in the rain. Same mower as well! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mqi8vb2Vaf4.html
Sometimes it is the right thing to do just help someone in need and only get the satisfaction of knowing you were able to help .it doesn't go about being paid all the time .well done I like to watch things that can make a difference in someone's life debbie 🇿🇦
love the videos man, they make the work day much better, just play all your videos, watching when i can and listening to the sweet noise of the mower and trimmer in the background on top of the classical music. as usual keep up the great work.
Like Brandy Strickland says, in Pennsylvania, USA, Im in North Carolina, USA, watching here, Are all the men like you, enjoy extra work out side. Mine just got off work, and sitting playing X-box, downing beer, I show him your videos , how you spend time helping and doing extra yard work. He walk out of the den. The nerve!
Great work mate👍 some very satisfying results there! Perfect explanation of the lawn conditions/results for those keyboard jockeys! Looking forward to more awesome quality content 👌
Re: scalping. Your explanation sounds like what happens with my hair. The ends of my hair are blonde and red. But you get to the base and the roots are gray. Lol
Love watching someone who actually knows about grass and how to cut it i mow alot of yards in my local town and i always get asked the question why is my yard brown?? Hate it lol
Awesome work, on both yards, Shaun. Also, the extra info about cutting the grass at different heights, as well. Valuable!! Enjoy your posts. Many thanks for sharing with us. Grateful “LIMEY” 😀👍😀 Take care and stay safe 👍👍
Beastmaster, I just hope you don't let negatives get you down, you know what you have to do to make the job work. In my head I tell my self, JUST WALK A MILE IN MY SHOES. Keep up the good work, your deffently doing a fine job. Bye for now. LOL 🏋️♂️😋
My comment today is about the music...what there is of it! I've read a comment or two about folks wanting to listen to the engine noise, or they don't care for the epic choices you've made. Well, variety is the spice of life. I hope they liked today's edit. If there was a vote tho', I'd vote for the classics! The edit button you push for the epics is very satisfying to me!
Hey Sean. Another excellent job. In the first yard, I didn't know if you were string trimming or harvesting. Both yards look great. I really appreciate the walk-behind mower approach to landscaping. I always feel more personally connected to the result. Keep up the good work. Love the channel. The premiers are awesome.
