This is true. But, Blizzard Studio is...inspired by their aesthetic more so than their potency. And they wanted to give their Prime Evil a sort of weight that "oh no, he took down Valor himself! How will we *ever* beat him now?" Etc. Besides, if the forces of good is so overpowered, there wouldn't be much for the protagonist to do, or something along that line of reasoning. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Diablo get a proper smacking from Imperius. But either way, Diablo fell thanks to the combined effort of man and angel in the story, so I'm satisfied all the same.
Um if you play the game diablo is no ordinary demon he is the embodiement of all the greatest demons to have ever lived combined, and ironically *spoilers* Its not the angels who defeat him, but a human being.
@@andrewgavin3083 I think our friend here was referring to the biblical origins of the Angelic race being ridiculously overpowered--and it's true, because in that context they are. But for the world of Diablo, if you want to get into technicalities; the Nephalem is a species that originated from a union between Inarius and Lilith's (along with other angel/demon rogue couplings) resulting in a breed of half angel, half demon creatures--the first humans. They were basically nerfed by Inarius when he grew fearful of their potential, up until our protagonist awakens his/her inner powers many centuries later etc. So, technically, angelic (and demonic) strength did vanquish Diablo, after a fashion.

That's because God chose not to interfere with our lives... we're like a experiment so you don't interfere with the results and that's why Archangels don't come to help everytime someone needs them..and Angels are invincible.. even low ranked ones
@@darkrai3546 Well whatever gives you strength. I don't believe their is any strengthin being invincible, but rather being fragile and taking a stand for whats right. Perhaps that is why we our being experimented on, and perhaps why we have more potential. Perhaps that is why lucifer refused to bow, but only time will tell. In my opinion true strength comes from knowing you could lose and taking a stand anyways. What is strength if you cannot lose, and whats its worth anyways if you have nothing to lose

Not even joking, when I was a kid I'd imagine epic scenes while listening to two steps from hell, and the scene I ALWAYS imagined for this song was Tristram being overrun with demons than a light shines down from the heavens during the slow part, and Tyreal slowly drifts down until he touches the ground at 1:25 and does his justice thing. You've just about made my childhood fantasy come true.
